It takes a nation to protect the nation
The large-scale battle won by Polish-Austrian-German forces lead by King of Poland Jan III Sobieski against the Ottoman Empire army commanded by Grand Vizier Merzifonlu Kara Mustafa Pasha, which took place on September 12, 1683 after Vienna had been besieged by Turks for two months. The battle broke the power of Ottoman Empire and had the most far-reaching consequences in the Great Turkish War.
This might be of interest to Alan or Kinana. I looked at the 2nd comment, which complained the programme was politically correct and decided not to even bother listening. There's also podcasts in that series for Fall of Constantinople and Siege of Malta.
In June 1683, a man called Kara Mustafa made a journey to Vienna. That a Muslim Turk should come to a Catholic city was not unusual,That's enough to put me off right there. It will just make me angry, and you know, we are not allowed to get angry now, or even to disagree with the left's narrative.
The voice is a bit robotic, but the graphics on this description of the battle of Vienna are really good. Even if you already know the battle, it's worth watching again.
