This is the very best and the simplest that I have seen the world's economic turmoil explained. It is put in terms that a twelve year old can understand and explains how we got where we are, why we can't get out of it, and where it is leading. This is a video that covers our current financial practices. It does not delve into financial manipulation, or a New World Order conspiracy...simply economic practices that are destined to fail. Everyone who watches this will better understand that what we are seeing ahead is an oncoming train.

Maybe we should have a forum just for California! This couple fled the sunshine state because they couldn't find anywhere to live, and had 3 of their children taken away from them because they were homeless, I guess. This is what happens when the Statists gain control of society.

I find shocking about this.
I was in San Diego for several weeks in the late 1990s. I remember it was a bit more run down that's shiny image would lead one to believe. But I never saw these tarp-cities.
The other thing is that the people interviewed in this don't strike me as criminals. They seem quite concerned, quite passive, and quite articulate.
I guess when people have found themselves bankrupt in Detroit etc. and lose their homes, they might as well go and be homeless in a better, warmer city.
San Diego's Democrat Mayor stood by whilst the terror-promoting Trotskyists of so-called Antifa went about attacking people who went to a Trump rally there. Even the group "Gay Latinos For Trump" in San Diego ended up getting broken noses from the Trotskyist terrorists. That they were brown-skinned and gay didn't protect them from the Trotskyist terrorists.
I hope Trump's administration ends up helping these homeless people back to work.

Here's another aspect of the US which is personally dangerous.
They can destroy your life with litigation, where 'they' is the state or a rich individual, and the litigation can be totally unfounded, but as Mark says, "the process is the punishment". In the case of Mr Caputo the litigation takes the form of endless hours of investigation by a 'special counsel', who has unlimited staff an unlimited funds and unlimited time scope. How can any one individual survive that? I'm surprised that Mark Steyn has even survived so far his other legal battles with Michael Mann (6 years and counting) and CRTV.
Its easy for the rich and powerful to destroy those of the middle and working class in America, and there is no safety net.

Clearly the State of California government realises that there is an exodus. So they did a survey. 49% of respondents said they planned to leave California. Wow. That's Brexit-level dissatisfaction. Imagine if half of Britain just went and moved to another country as the solution to being in the EU.

Mission Overview
Most Western societies are based on Secular Democracy, which itself is based on the concept that the open marketplace of ideas leads to the optimum government. Whilst that model has been very successful, it has defects. The 4 Freedoms address 4 of the principal vulnerabilities, and gives corrections to them.
At the moment, one of the main actors exploiting these defects, is Islam, so this site pays particular attention to that threat.
Islam, operating at the micro and macro levels, is unstoppable by individuals, hence: "It takes a nation to protect the nation". There is not enough time to fight all its attacks, nor to read them nor even to record them. So the members of 4F try to curate a representative subset of these events.
We need to capture this information before it is removed. The site already contains sufficient information to cover most issues, but our members add further updates when possible.
We hope that free nations will wake up to stop the threat, and force the separation of (Islamic) Church and State. This will also allow moderate Muslims to escape from their totalitarian political system.
The 4 Freedoms
These 4 freedoms are designed to close 4 vulnerabilities in Secular Democracy, by making them SP or Self-Protecting (see Hobbes's first law of nature). But Democracy also requires - in addition to the standard divisions of Executive, Legislature & Judiciary - a fourth body, Protector of the Open Society (POS), to monitor all its vulnerabilities (see also Popper).
1. SP Freedom of Speech
Any speech is allowed - except that advocating the end of these freedoms
2. SP Freedom of Election
Any party is allowed - except one advocating the end of these freedoms
3. SP Freedom from Voter Importation
Immigration is allowed - except where that changes the political demography (this is electoral fraud)
4. SP Freedom from Debt
The Central Bank is allowed to create debt - except where that debt burden can pass across a generation (25 years).
An additional Freedom from Religion is deducible if the law is applied equally to everyone:
- Religious and cultural activities are exempt from legal oversight except where they intrude into the public sphere (Res Publica)"
