It takes a nation to protect the nation
Simon Roche, the Suidlanders founder, explains what the organisation is about.
You’ve already worked this out, but I just want to clarify for future use.
When we say Darwinian, it can mean two things. It can mean survival of the fittest by natural selection - so the weaker parts of the population get eliminated; and it can mean genetic evolution to a better (better adapted) species. Of course the two are related, but their timescales are different. The wiping out of weak (mal-adapted) members can happen quickly. But it takes a long time for the good genes to work their way through to producing a stronger breed. Anyway, Antony was using Darwinism in the first sense, and Philip in the second sense, before you resolved the ambiguity.
