It takes a nation to protect the nation

Hi Guys

To me, I believe this is a perfect example of the importance of Faith. Ramiro the first was faced with an invincible enemy - his troops were exhausted and demoralized. The night before the inevitable battle he had a dream of Santiago or Saint James - who in life was one of our Lords first followers - he and his brother were known as the sons of thunder because of their tempers - it was his temper that they say had him killed in 44AD. They say the dream had Saint James ride to the aid of the outnumbered soldiers on a white horse. That vision and their faith carried the tide of this battle.

I used to believe that this legend was some bunk thought up by the church to sell souvenirs but since I have found out that the rise of Islam was prophesied in the bible and we have seen their true evil - I am not now so quick to dismiss this legend. If any one was going to come back from the dead to defend us against the evil of Islam it would be Saint James - the son of thunder.

Legend or reality, the facts that emerged in the battle of Clavijo have made a deep mark in the history of Spain.

Clavijo, an enclave that is located 17 kilometers from Logroño, has been considered one of the most emblematic of the Spanish Reconquista. In this space was one of the most legendary battles of the crusade and charismatic peninsular, not so much tactics, and the appearance of St. James the King Ramiro I.

King Ramiro I of Asturias, refuses to grant the Tribute Hundred Maidens to Rahman III, which breaks with the tax neutrality provided produced the war.The refusal of the annual delivery of 100 young women Christian from the Moors in exchange for peace, is the reason for the conflict.

The King met and called the whole region against the pagans being in a first time defeated in Albelda (La Rioja) , but can not hide in Clavijo. Knowing overcome by the decimation of his troops, in dreams appeared the Apostle,"Know that the Lord Christ Ihesu departed angels all my brothers the land dela ea prouincias my only gave Spain, and sey strong and firm in your fechos , so I ca Ihesu Santiago apostle of Christ who will come for help. I know for truth that inthe morning Conquer with the help of God all these Moors who have surrounded you will die munchos models avnque yours, is coupled to quales Parayso glory.

E desto be true that you see me up inthe morning cauallo vn vna white and white sign reluziente inthe grand sword hand. I confess then you hedes inthe morning and rescebiredes the body of Christ our Lord and I date this Ihesu non dubdedes from wounding Moors inthe calling 'God helps Santiago' you know some mind that all Conquer and shalt bring the sword. " Battle of Clavijo is a key to understand the movement Jacobean currently in Spain, which became the Middle Ages in one of the ultimate pilgrimage for Christians, the same level as Jerusalem and Rome will visit the Holy appearances throughout peninsular mixing reality with devotion in the Official History.

In appreciation of their help in the battle establishes the Vow of Santiago. King Ramiro I, ordered the implementation of the Vote of Santiago. It will be in the Calahorra on 25 May 844, by a solemn privilege is granted to the Church of Santiago de Compostela a tax from all Spanish regions, which included both crops as spoils of war, and even establishing a commitment travel and pilgrimage to Santiago carrying offerings. In 1812 is abolished in the Cortes of Cadiz, here surprised that failure to vote by the Spanish nation was the prologue to the collapse of Spain as a power in the XIX century. In 1936 symbolically is restored and renewed annually by the symbolic and the King of Spain every May 25 as the patron saint of Spain.

But how can that be? We all know that Andalusia was a time of peace, love and harmony due to the kindness of the Muslim overlords. They can't have been demanding 100 young women as tax payment, because everyone knows that Islam gave full and equal rights to women before anyone else.

Well I have to go now. I've got a dinner party with some Leftist friends, and we're going to talk about how we're going to rescue the East from oppression. Or is it deliver the West into oppression? I forget now.

On the subject of depictions of Islamic themes see these two statues above.  The author (http://walktenthousandmiles.net/2011/09/18/santiago-matamoros-food-...) writes:

'There is a dramatic effigy in a niche in the Cathedral of St.James in Santiago de Compostela. It depicts St.James in medieval military garb astride a horse, brandishing a sword above his head. Legend has it that St.James – Santiago – appeared to Christian troops during the semi-legendary Battle of Clavijo in 844 in which Spanish Christians defeated a much bigger Muslim army. During the following seven centuries of conflict between Christians and Muslims in the Iberian peninsula – from roughly 800 until 1492 – Santiago was adopted as the divine mentor of the Christian forces. He was given the name Matamoros, “Killer of Moors” i.e. killer of Muslims, and subsequently became the patron saint of Spain. “Santiago y cierra, España!” (St. James and attack, for Spain!) became the battle cry of Spanish armies as they slowly recovered the Iberian peninsula from its Moorish rulers.'

'In the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, the saint’s horse rears from behind an arrangement of fresh leaves and flowers. As even the quickest search of the internet will confirm, behind this fragrant corsage Santiago’s horse is actually trampling over Moorish soldiers and his sword is meting out death. There is even a severed Muslim head on the ground below him.'

'It is, I suppose, to the credit of the cathedral that it seems to be squeamish about the image. Perhaps the mangled limbs are camouflaged out of politically correct consideration for the feelings of Muslims....'

Thousands of Deadly Islamic Terror Attacks Since 9/11

Mission Overview

Most Western societies are based on Secular Democracy, which itself is based on the concept that the open marketplace of ideas leads to the optimum government. Whilst that model has been very successful, it has defects. The 4 Freedoms address 4 of the principal vulnerabilities, and gives corrections to them.

At the moment, one of the main actors exploiting these defects, is Islam, so this site pays particular attention to that threat.

Islam, operating at the micro and macro levels, is unstoppable by individuals, hence: "It takes a nation to protect the nation". There is not enough time to fight all its attacks, nor to read them nor even to record them. So the members of 4F try to curate a representative subset of these events.

We need to capture this information before it is removed.  The site already contains sufficient information to cover most issues, but our members add further updates when possible.

We hope that free nations will wake up to stop the threat, and force the separation of (Islamic) Church and State. This will also allow moderate Muslims to escape from their totalitarian political system.

The 4 Freedoms

These 4 freedoms are designed to close 4 vulnerabilities in Secular Democracy, by making them SP or Self-Protecting (see Hobbes's first law of nature). But Democracy also requires - in addition to the standard divisions of Executive, Legislature & Judiciary - a fourth body, Protector of the Open Society (POS), to monitor all its vulnerabilities (see also Popper).
1. SP Freedom of Speech
Any speech is allowed - except that advocating the end of these freedoms
2. SP Freedom of Election
Any party is allowed - except one advocating the end of these freedoms
3. SP Freedom from Voter Importation
Immigration is allowed - except where that changes the political demography (this is electoral fraud)
4. SP Freedom from Debt
The Central Bank is allowed to create debt - except where that debt burden can pass across a generation (25 years).

An additional Freedom from Religion is deducible if the law is applied equally to everyone:

  • Religious and cultural activities are exempt from legal oversight except where they intrude into the public sphere (Res Publica)"
