Key Info

Religious arguments go in the Theology Room, so all the rest (i.e. secular ones) come into this room. One-on-one arguments are treated in the same way as combat skills are treated in the UFC, as a pure skill, unrelated to the truth or falsehood (whatever that is) of the underlying message.

  • "Let me now state what seems to me the decisive objection to any conservatism which deserves to be called such. It is that by its very nature it cannot offer an alternative to the direction in which we are moving. It may succeed by its resistance to current tendencies in slowing down undesirable developments, but, since it does not indicate another direction, it cannot prevent their continuance. It has, for this reason, invariably been the fate of conservatism to be dragged along a path not of its own choosing. The tug of war between conservatives and progressives can only affect the speed, not the direction, of contemporary developments." - Hayek, 1961

Add self-condemnation.

It is hard to put feelings into words.

Comment by Alan Lake on April 15, 2018 at 10:28

Its actually very hard to state the obvious. So, oftentimes, we just stumble upon it by accident.

Comment by Philip Smeeton on April 15, 2018 at 10:19

I try very hard to state the obvious, to explain things in simple terms in a manner that helps me understand what I am feeling in relationship tp actual events out in the real world.
Poitics is about feelings and honesty, what you want and need and want to believe in.
I hate mass-immigration and Islam and want an England for the English, the way it was. And a world of independent nations with each their own unique culture, cooperating by peaceful means without surrendering sovereighty and identity. I want to love my country and homeland and the culture that is closest to my heart.
I despise fanciful and impractical theories and ideologies. Reality, the way things actually are and practical solutions to problems is the one and only obvious way to run a nation. If it doesn't work stop doing it and do something else perhaps the opposite of what you have been doing. Such as looking realisitcally at the effects of mass immigration on Britain and then adopting a policy of repatriation to repair the damage and to restore the normality that is the Nation.
We have been blackmailed into acceptance of that which does us harm out from a misconstrued understanding of what moral behaviour is. I would say that it is immoral to open the borders and subject your folk to injustice and crime and deprive them of their natural rights in favour of imagined rights given to strangers.
The- " I cannot in good conscience enjoy my life and reap the benefits of my labour as long as one single person on this planet is suffering or deprived." - which I regard to be a despicable self-destructive doctrine. Antthing based on suffering and self-sacrifice, self-denial, has to be wrong.

A society that decides to be perfectly just is doomed to decline, like a person who's main aim in life is to become morally unassailable. A society that prioritizes the protection of any minority that can be percieved to be discriminated, especially if the number and size of these minorities continues to increase, will fail to protectt those within its natural majority that are in need of protection, such as vulnerable children, the old and the disabled. It will brush aside the rights of the natural majority in its eagerness to award rights to alien minorities, there lies the injustice that impractical ideals create.

The Nation must put the interests of its own citizens before the rights of members of other nations. To grant rights to all-comers is to dismantle borders and abandon order and control. The only unit that functions above the family unit is the nation state, in order to remain intact the state's members must share a unifying common identity. Leagues of nations like any group of individuals will fall to squabbling if there is no unifying factor like rules that all accept and submit to. Each national culture will always be reluctant to surrender its sovereignty.

Right Antony, there is a bonus too, they make us feel sane.

Phil - at risk of sounding blase about the bio-terrorism angle, the main takeaway I get from this is that supposedly "anarchic" and "anti-establishment rebels" are supporting a highly authoritarian/totalitarian cult leader and the mindset necessary for this - which speaks volumes about their gullible mentality.

Leftists Are Celebrating the Perpetrator of the Largest Bioterror Attack in American History Because She’s a Woman

“There’s darkness in all of us. All of us have our dark side, ” the Rajneesh movement’s attorney, Philip Toelkes, says in the documentary. “That’s just nature of being human. It doesn’t make you a bad person.”

They are saying that terrorists are not bad people. Especially if the terrorist is a woman.
The leftist liberals, feminists and antifa are all messed up and consumed with hatred. Sects and socialism see violence as a justifiable means to an end, the end being to impose their will and beliefs on others. It is the antithesis of democracy- the free and enlightened will of the people prevailing.

The Left are really fucked up.
Compared to them the Right are boy scouts.

Masters of the Universe Town Hall: Ann Coulter Says the Internet ‘Has Been a Disaster for the Left’
Actually a free and uncensored internet would be truly democratic. Only criminal activity in the traditional sense should be banned. Saying that you hate someone is not a hate crime unless you specifically incite to the physical harming of that person. I hate muslims but I do not want to cause innocent muslims any physical harm. I hate Islam because it directly incites muslims to do physical harm to others.

They are not defending the values of communities they are dictating them. Woe to anyone that disagrees with the liberal agenda. Being conservative and sensible is becoming a crime.
I hate a lot of things and have a right to say so. The only thing I am not allowed to do is to intentionally incite to violence.
A hate-crime is not offending someone, a hate crime is beating someone to death because of their race.

Muslim Terrorism Count

Thousands of Deadly Islamic Terror Attacks Since 9/11

Mission Overview

Most Western societies are based on Secular Democracy, which itself is based on the concept that the open marketplace of ideas leads to the optimum government. Whilst that model has been very successful, it has defects. The 4 Freedoms address 4 of the principal vulnerabilities, and gives corrections to them.

At the moment, one of the main actors exploiting these defects, is Islam, so this site pays particular attention to that threat.

Islam, operating at the micro and macro levels, is unstoppable by individuals, hence: "It takes a nation to protect the nation". There is not enough time to fight all its attacks, nor to read them nor even to record them. So the members of 4F try to curate a representative subset of these events.

We need to capture this information before it is removed.  The site already contains sufficient information to cover most issues, but our members add further updates when possible.

We hope that free nations will wake up to stop the threat, and force the separation of (Islamic) Church and State. This will also allow moderate Muslims to escape from their totalitarian political system.

The 4 Freedoms

These 4 freedoms are designed to close 4 vulnerabilities in Secular Democracy, by making them SP or Self-Protecting (see Hobbes's first law of nature). But Democracy also requires - in addition to the standard divisions of Executive, Legislature & Judiciary - a fourth body, Protector of the Open Society (POS), to monitor all its vulnerabilities (see also Popper).
1. SP Freedom of Speech
Any speech is allowed - except that advocating the end of these freedoms
2. SP Freedom of Election
Any party is allowed - except one advocating the end of these freedoms
3. SP Freedom from Voter Importation
Immigration is allowed - except where that changes the political demography (this is electoral fraud)
4. SP Freedom from Debt
The Central Bank is allowed to create debt - except where that debt burden can pass across a generation (25 years).

An additional Freedom from Religion is deducible if the law is applied equally to everyone:

  • Religious and cultural activities are exempt from legal oversight except where they intrude into the public sphere (Res Publica)"
