Thailand: “Some recent attacks appear intended to spread terror among the Buddhist Thai population, in violation of the laws of war….”

When did the soldiers of Allah ever respect the man-made laws of the kafirs? Muhammad said ‘war is deceit’, and  a whole lot more, like:

Ibn Ishaq: 327 - “Allah said, ‘A prophet must slaughter before collecting captives. A slaughtered enemy is driven from the land. Muhammad, you craved the desires of this world, its goods and the ransom captives would bring. But Allah desires killing them to manifest the religion.’”

“Some recent insurgent attacks appear intended to spread terror among the Buddhist Thai population, in violation of the laws of war,

Bangkok – A human rights group on Tuesday condemned a surge in violent attacks by separatist Muslim insurgents on civilian targets this year in Thailand’s troubled southern provinces.

More horrific pic’s here…

Since January, a series of shootings and bombings perpetrated by insurgents have claimed more than a dozen lives.

“There is no excuse for indiscriminate or deliberate attacks against civilians,” said Brad Adams, Asia director at Human Rights Watch. “The leaders of separatist insurgent groups need to rethink their tactics, which are abhorrent, illegal, and completely unjustifiable.”

Yawn!

Thailand’s majority-Muslim southern provinces of Narathiwat, Pattani and Yala have been a hotbed for violence since January 2004, when a long-simmering separatist movement took a more militant turn.

About 4,370 people have died in the conflict over the past seven years, 90 per cent of them civilians, Human Rights Watch said.

In December, Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva said stability was returning to the region after the government introduced a policy of promoting economic development in the long-neglected provinces.

The claim appears to have sparked a surge in renewed violence.

On Sunday, a bomb exploded in Yala city, 700 kilometres south of Bangkok, injuring 17 people and destroying an entire block of shops.

On February 10, three Thais were killed and their bodies burned, on February 3 five Buddhists were shot in Pattani and a roadside bomb killed nine in Yala on January 25.

“Some recent insurgent attacks appear intended to spread terror among the Buddhist Thai population, in violation of the laws of war,” Human Right Watch said.

“Their aim is to drive out the Buddhist population, keep Muslims under control, and discredit the Thai authorities,”

the human rights group said of the separatist rebels.

About 80 per cent of the 2 million people living in the three provinces are Muslims, making it the only majority Muslim region in predominantly Buddhist Thailand. An estimated 300,000 Buddhists have left the region since in 2004.

And then, the obligatory qualifier:

The region was an independent sultanate until Bangkok conquered it about 200 years ago. The local population, which shares greater cultural, linguistic and religious similarities with neighbouring Malaysia, has never wholly submitted to rule by the central government.

The Buddhists are voting with their feet:

Subject line: Unreported story: Thailand mass migration due to Muslim terror

Here in Thailand things are so bad that every quarter thousands (most likely tens of thousands) of non-Muslim (primarily Buddhist) Thai citizens in the south are abandoning homes, jobs, businesses, land holdings and generations of work to head for safer northern provinces. Their holdings are sold for a song to local Southern Muslims. This is the plan of the Muslim terrorists of course, and it’s working. This forced mass migration of Buddhists and abandonment of property and homes in the south of Thailand is a part of terrorism story that is largely unreported in the local or international press. Yo

I am just back from Thailand. Hence the silence.

It is interesting to note that the Sultanate of Pattani a Malay sultanate that covered approximately the area of the modern Thai provinces of Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat was before Jahiliyah (before Islam, the age of ignorance)

The area was home to the Hindu-Buddhist kingdom of Langkasuka as early as the second century, as accounts from Chinese travelers attest. Langkasuka reached its peak in the sixth and seventh centuries, and then declined as a major trade center. Pattani subsequently became part of the Hindu-Buddhist Empire of Srivijaya, a maritime confederation based in Palembang (Java), which spanned the seventh to the thirteenth centuries. Regional influence during these early centuries also came from the developing Khmer, Siamese and Malay cultures.

The founding of the Islamic kingdom of Patani is thought to have been around the mid-13th century, with folklore suggesting it was named after an exclamation made by SultanIsmail Shah, "Pantai Ini!" ("This beach" in the local Malay language). However, some think it was the same country known to the Chinese as Pan Pan.

Five of the those killed were Buddhists and one Muslim. Considering that 85% of the buddhists have now fled southern Thailand, it is the death of the muslim here that was accidental.  The devout muslims went out of their way to find a location where buddhists were in order to massacre them.

The Thai media give more details than Reuters.

"Witnesses said after firing into the shop the armed men walked in and shot the victims in the head one by one."  Including a 2 year old child. (This week on Facebook I saw a muslim messaged the owner of an anti-islam page, saying he was planning to rape the baby of the page owner).

Muslim Terrorism Count

Thousands of Deadly Islamic Terror Attacks Since 9/11

Mission Overview

Most Western societies are based on Secular Democracy, which itself is based on the concept that the open marketplace of ideas leads to the optimum government. Whilst that model has been very successful, it has defects. The 4 Freedoms address 4 of the principal vulnerabilities, and gives corrections to them.

At the moment, one of the main actors exploiting these defects, is Islam, so this site pays particular attention to that threat.

Islam, operating at the micro and macro levels, is unstoppable by individuals, hence: "It takes a nation to protect the nation". There is not enough time to fight all its attacks, nor to read them nor even to record them. So the members of 4F try to curate a representative subset of these events.

We need to capture this information before it is removed.  The site already contains sufficient information to cover most issues, but our members add further updates when possible.

We hope that free nations will wake up to stop the threat, and force the separation of (Islamic) Church and State. This will also allow moderate Muslims to escape from their totalitarian political system.

The 4 Freedoms

These 4 freedoms are designed to close 4 vulnerabilities in Secular Democracy, by making them SP or Self-Protecting (see Hobbes's first law of nature). But Democracy also requires - in addition to the standard divisions of Executive, Legislature & Judiciary - a fourth body, Protector of the Open Society (POS), to monitor all its vulnerabilities (see also Popper).
1. SP Freedom of Speech
Any speech is allowed - except that advocating the end of these freedoms
2. SP Freedom of Election
Any party is allowed - except one advocating the end of these freedoms
3. SP Freedom from Voter Importation
Immigration is allowed - except where that changes the political demography (this is electoral fraud)
4. SP Freedom from Debt
The Central Bank is allowed to create debt - except where that debt burden can pass across a generation (25 years).

An additional Freedom from Religion is deducible if the law is applied equally to everyone:

  • Religious and cultural activities are exempt from legal oversight except where they intrude into the public sphere (Res Publica)"
