It takes a nation to protect the nation
THE ONLY SCARY THING ABOUT SYRIA’S REFUGEES IS THAT THEY’RE JUST LIKE US
Visiting displaced Syrians in Lebanon, the author discovers a painful truth. These aren’t would-be terrorists sneaking across borders; they’re regular families, living in the margins and dreaming of home.
“As a descendant of black slaves and Jewish immigrants, it’s inherently hard for me to understand why it’s acceptable for a closed-borders, anti-foreigners viewpoint to be influencing policy and popular opinion.”
Rashida Jones is intelligent, talented and multiracial. She employs the tactic of pointing to pictures of suffering, wounded or dead children and of bagatellizing any argument against the massive immigration of Muslims into free and democratic countries. Calling it irrational fear because they are just like us.
There are 1.7 billion Muslims. Some of them that move into our countries do integrate most do not. They retain their own language and culture and do not respect our laws. Their faith instructs them to fight by every means until the host country becomes Muslim. Islam is violent and discriminating and preaches hatred.
“And, yes, they are irrationally scared of inviting in violent extremism”- Her first lie. We are rationally afraid of Islam because Islam is dangerous and a real threat to our freedom and wellbeing. Islamophobia is a misnomer.
“Of course we all understand the instinct to protect what is ours, but at what cost to our humanity?”(moral condemnation).- We are inhuman if we want to say no to refugees and immigrants because we want to preserve our culture and way of life.
Is protecting ourselves immoral? We can help others elsewhere, just not here.
Like all Leftist-Liberals she ignores the principle that refugee status is temporary and that refugees have to return to their homeland as soon as it is safe to do so, it is conveniently ignored that most refugees have no intention of returning to their homelands, become permanent citizens in and change drastically the character of the host country. Which is why refugees should be helped only on the borders of their homelands, so that they remain in a familiar culture and when possible can return to assist in rebuilding their own homeland.
Though Rashida ignores the fact, the English have a right, a human right, to own their own homeland and to live in a country where they are the overwhelming majority. To have their own unique culture and that they have the right to decide who is to be allowed to settle in their homeland and how many can do so.
A society can adapt over time to small changes in population, but it is utterly destroyed by the massive and indiscriminate immigration of aliens.
In the far distant future this planet may be home to one race and one culture, united in peace, lawfulness and harmony, without suffering. But this has to happen slowly and carefully, dramatic change, causes problems and conflicts.
There are 7.5 billion human beings on this planet and the numbers are increasing, Unless we introduce compulsory contraception where the birth rates are highest we are sooner or later going to run out of resources. All attempts to reduce poverty will be futile. There will never be enough schools, hospitals, jobs, infrastructure, food or water. All progress will eventually be swamped by the sheer numbers of births.
Wishful thinking, which is what the Liberal-Left indulge in, will not solve any problems. We need practical solutions to humanity’s problems, one of which is to protect the technically advanced nations from destruction through mass-immigration.
“The biggest difference is that this family had experienced a terrible stroke of bad luck”.
The bad luck this family experienced was to exist in a Muslim country. Without Islam the Middle-East might have been a Paradise on Earth.
What Rashida and her like cannot visualize is what would happen if the borders of nations were removed, the massive migration that would ensue and all of the conflict and suffering that the collapse of these nations would cause.
To take the US; when they become numerous enough the Muslims will behave there exactly like they do in Europe, refuse to integrate and create hostile communities; the Mexicans will keep their culture, speak Spanish and literally make the southern states part of Mexico.
“Find ways to force yourself and other people to feel empathy and act on it”.
”…it’s our responsibility to actively hold ourselves to a higher standard of compassion and understanding….”.
“….our fear and ignorance will destroy us….”.( moral intimidation).
I wish no nice person any harm and am willing to assist those genuinely in need, but I will not sacrifice my own wellbeing and the wellbeing of those that I care for, for the theoretical principle- that I must sacrifice everything and devote my life and fortune to helping everyone. I give myself the right to decide what sort of people I want to associate with and to be surrounded by, and what sort of culture is acceptable to me.
And everyone else has this right, except where it interferes with and denies me my right. So there we have the basic human conflict; me and us against them and you. And that is a reality, as is the right to choose what to accept and who to cooperate with. No one is essentially right, it is the majority or those with the power that decide.
Being a democrat I unwillingly accept the will of the majority. Being an agnostic and a skeptic, I understand morality to be a practical convenience not an absolute truth.
