It takes a nation to protect the nation
This is not about kuffarphobia specifically, but is a general comment about the reduction in freedom of speech, both because of the witch hunt syndrome, but also now because of people giving up. It is in line with Joe's observation of us being in the 'post-dialogue world'.
The witch hunt mentality of social media and mainstream media has now reached such a level, that clever people are now refraining from making any comments at all on anything.
Kate Winslet 'not bothered' by age gap debate:
Winslet, however, declined to be drawn on the issue, despite having claim to being no less marginalised. ...
"I think it's such a big debate and it's probably quite dangerous for me to comment because it will be taken and blown up as these things do tend to be.
"With something like that, you can't change that ever-evolving discussion. It doesn't matter what I say, what you think, what the next person thinks - it is the way it is.
I saw other examples previously but didn't capture them. Then you can look at Victor Hanson's blog and see that people are giving up responding. Previously, there would be around 10 comments after every essay. But for the last 4 essays, there have been no comments at all. Compare these 4 with all the previous ones and you will see the difference.
People were still commenting on the preceeding two, for example:
It seems like people are also giving up because they despair of the political process. After all, when the fascist left are controlling all the levers, what's the point?
Future generations will look back, like Stalin's downtrodden serfs, with astonishment at the way we fearlessly gave our opinions before, confident of impunity.
There is no dialogue, nor is it possible, there is no common ground, even though English is spoken it is as if we were speaking different languages, their truths are theoretical principles, while I do believe our side is more objective and in touch with facts and reality, it is a war and the side that wins will be right.
To give an example, these Paris attacks, the leftist media and politicians say that they have nothing to do with the real Islam. That they are carried out by a tiny minority that has perverted Islam.
While I think that a normal sane person given knowledge about the ideology of Islam and it's history and the behaviour of Muslims worldwide, the terrible atrocities in the name of Islam. This normal person will clearly conclude that the Paris attacks were inspired by Islam and are what Islam teaches Muslims to do and expects them to do; kill, mutilate and terrorize, and force Islam and sharia on everyone until the whole world is Muslim.
Islam makes no secret of its intent, so why is it so difficult to understand that Mohammed has clearly described how to force Islam on people through violence and fear, and that believers are obliged to carry out these instructions or burn in eternal agony. The ticket to Paradise is purchased with murder.
Someone with 700,000 followers are only just realising that we are in a post-dialogue world and that the Left have no principles (except --- power by any means necessary).
Welcome to the party pal. We were years ahead of you in noticing where things were going.
When I began speaking my mind, I accepted that a Muslim loony might knock on my door with a big knife, I armed myself and took precautions. I risk some antifa punk throwing a brick through my window. That the police could knock on my door is what I find most disgusting. Then there is the censorship in the various media.
None of which will ever stop me commenting everywhere I can and using my real name. I am in the telephone catalogue. I do not consider myself any sort of hero, I detest conflict, but I am prepared to defend that which I believe in and to kill if I have to.
I am not high profile enough for anyone to care. Those that really risk their livelihoods, family and lives are the real heroes. The ones on the streets actively demonstrating. I believe in a political solution, but anything that helps the cause is very welcome. I see my role as an ideologist, giving people words and arguments and understanding. Not that I subscribe to ideologies. Stating the obvious cannot be done often enough, and repeating yourself is a necessity. My, and I believe our, message is simple and clearly stated. We see what is wrong and we see what has to be done to right this wrong.
COMMENT BY JOE:
I was recommending this position around 2010/2011.
What's truly significant is that the average age for UK TV viewers is around 60yo. And every year, that average age increases by a year. Which shows the extent to which the younger generation reject TV.
It's really hard to imagine what will happen by 2028, when the average age of The a repoter will be around 70yo. The major means by which the elite have spun incidents is going to come to an end. That means that the public are going to be increasingly drawing conclusions for themselves, based on what they have seen some friend say.
The only ways that the state will have to indoctrinate will be the day prisons (i.e. school, university). That means they can form the basic mentality of the younger population. The power of control by state is going to be significantly diminished.
In the case of muslims and other immigrants it is the homes that dictate the mentality of the pupil. The schooling has little effect. Let us hope that our children develope the abilty to think "that doesn't sound right" when they are told something by our betters.
