It takes a nation to protect the nation

A Muslim poster above, one "Logic," would have us believe, through his highly selective and misleading quotations from the Qur'an (and he could do the same, no doubt, with Hadith from Bukhari and Muslim), would have us deny what "our lying eyes" tell us as we consider the history of non-Muslim peoples -- Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians, Hindus, and Buddhists -- wherever they came under Muslim sway, and Muslim rule. He would have us ignore, or carefully never discover for ourselves, what can be found in articles at a thousand sites -- start with and -- or in such books on the subject of the treatment of non-Muslims under Islam as three by Bat Ye'or, which are highly recommended, as important for all non-Muslims to read, and to thoroughly assimilate them, lest they be susceptible to the kind of propaganda that "Logic" offers above.

Tthere are thousands of articles as well as books by other scholars, especially during the Golden Age of Western Study of Islam, roughly 1870 to 1970, before the Great Inhibition descended, on the fate of non-Muslims under Islam. A very good one is that by the Lebanese Christian legal scholar Antoine Fattal -- "Le status legal des non-Musulmans en pays d'Islam" -- but it remains, as yet, untranslated into English (this should be some publishing house's priority project, or possibly funded by some intelligent Maecenas).

But because they are the work of the pioneering scholar who made the status of the dhimmi her speciality, I would recommend three books by Bat Ye'or to begin with:

1) "The Dhimmi"
2) "Islam and Dhimmitude"
3) "The Decline of Christianity Under Islam"

As for the execrable treatment of Zoroastrians under Islam, the histories of Mary Boyce, and even her memoir of living with the remaining Zoroastrian community in Iran during the time of the Shah, are recommended.

And for the treatment -- and mass murder (with 60-80 million victims) -- of Hindus by their Muslim masters, during Muslim rule in India, the work of K. S. Lal, including "The Legacy of Muslim Rule in India," are also recommended.

Instead of the verses quoted -- most misleadingly, including that old chestnut of the apologists for Islam, 2.256 -- "There is no compulsion in religion" -- a phrase which Muslim commentators gloss quite differently for their fellow Muslims from what the apologists tell or imply, by merely qauoting, it means to unwary Infidels, of whom there remain many, though fewer, thank god, every day (and they are prompted to engage in study of Islam -- not what the apologists and Muslim promoters of Da'wa offer, but the real Islam, the Islam that Wafa Sultan and Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Ali Sina and ibn Warraq and all the most intellectually and morally advanced people who, through no fault of their own, were born into Islma, have testified as to its real meaning, the meaning that Muslims give to the texts and the tenets, and that are reflected in their deeply-held attitudes, and that are in the very air, that are part of what may be called the atmospherics, of societies suffused with Islam, or even of discrete families or local groups suffused with Islam.

Finally, for those who would like a bit of the real Islamic view of Infidels, the Islam that "Logic" would prefer you not to become aware of, simply google for the full text of the Qur'an, and also for the Hadith, that can be found conveniently on-line, and you can then insert various words -- "Jew" and "Christian" and "Unbelieber" and find what the texts -- Qur'an and Hadith -- have to say.

You might, however, merely start with the Calcutta Koran Petition. See what Jihad-verses from the Qur'an are to be found there. Study them carefully. See what you think of the duty of Jihad, imposed on all Muslims, to spread Islam, to remove all barriers put up by non-Muslims to the spread of Islam (hint: the American Constituion constitutes a barrier to the spread of Islam, and especially, the individual rights enshrined in the Bill of Rights), and how this is defined by Muslims as Infidel "aggression" to which Muslims have a perfect right to respond in any way they see fit.

Yes, start with that Calcutta Koran Petition. And then go from the Qur'an -- as if that were not disturbing and menacing enough -- to the Hadith, those deemed most "authentic" by the most authoritative muhaddithin, Bukhari and Muslim, and then to the Sira. Don't forget the piquant tales, of little Aisha and Asma bint Marwan, of the decapitation of the Banu Qurayza, of the attack, for loot and women, on the inoffensive Jewish farmers of the Khaybar Oasis, of the decepvite "treaty" of Al-Hudaibiyya, which became the model for all subsequent treaty-making between Muslims and non-Muslims. Don't forget that Muhammad is the Model of Conduct, uswa hasana, the Perfect Man, al-insan al-kamil, so that what he did matters, matters very much, through time and space.

"Logic" certainly thinks so. And as a good Muslim, he is simply being true to the letter and spirit of Muhammad's famous remark that "war is deception." Confuse the Infidels, or distract them, or keep them constantly off-guard, so that they never quite grasp what Jihad, what the subsequent subjugation of all non-Muslims, will mean -- as it has meant for hundreds of millions of non-Muslims in the past, over 1350 years of entirely consistent history of conquesdt and subjugtation -- for them, and for their children and grandchildren, unless they come to their collective seneses in time, and take the most obvious and elementary steps to protect themselves physically, and their own civilizations, their art, their science, their individual freedoms and rights, not any of which would remain the same if Muslims acquired dominance or anything close to dominance.

Muslim Terrorism Count

Thousands of Deadly Islamic Terror Attacks Since 9/11

Mission Overview

Most Western societies are based on Secular Democracy, which itself is based on the concept that the open marketplace of ideas leads to the optimum government. Whilst that model has been very successful, it has defects. The 4 Freedoms address 4 of the principal vulnerabilities, and gives corrections to them.

At the moment, one of the main actors exploiting these defects, is Islam, so this site pays particular attention to that threat.

Islam, operating at the micro and macro levels, is unstoppable by individuals, hence: "It takes a nation to protect the nation". There is not enough time to fight all its attacks, nor to read them nor even to record them. So the members of 4F try to curate a representative subset of these events.

We need to capture this information before it is removed.  The site already contains sufficient information to cover most issues, but our members add further updates when possible.

We hope that free nations will wake up to stop the threat, and force the separation of (Islamic) Church and State. This will also allow moderate Muslims to escape from their totalitarian political system.

The 4 Freedoms

These 4 freedoms are designed to close 4 vulnerabilities in Secular Democracy, by making them SP or Self-Protecting (see Hobbes's first law of nature). But Democracy also requires - in addition to the standard divisions of Executive, Legislature & Judiciary - a fourth body, Protector of the Open Society (POS), to monitor all its vulnerabilities (see also Popper).
1. SP Freedom of Speech
Any speech is allowed - except that advocating the end of these freedoms
2. SP Freedom of Election
Any party is allowed - except one advocating the end of these freedoms
3. SP Freedom from Voter Importation
Immigration is allowed - except where that changes the political demography (this is electoral fraud)
4. SP Freedom from Debt
The Central Bank is allowed to create debt - except where that debt burden can pass across a generation (25 years).

An additional Freedom from Religion is deducible if the law is applied equally to everyone:

  • Religious and cultural activities are exempt from legal oversight except where they intrude into the public sphere (Res Publica)"
