It takes a nation to protect the nation
Sometimes life mirrors the script in quite some detail.
“The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Command a boy to pray when he reaches the age of seven years. When he becomes ten years old, then beat him for prayer.” (Bukhari 2:494)
The Muslim woman does not look like a wahabbi zealot. You cannot tell a book by the cover I guess. The article does not indicate the relationship of the Adult woman and the child. I wonder what the parents think?

A Muslim woman who repeatedly beat a 10-year-old girl with a steel ladle for not reading enough verses of the Koran is facing jail today.
Asia Parveen, 31 brandished a knife at the child after accusing her of lying about her prayers.
Parveen, who was five months pregnant at the time, also forced the girl to stand with her arms outstretched for four hours, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.
Asia Parveen, 31 who beat the child with a metal cooking spoon is facing a possible jail sentence
The girl, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, escaped from the house in Stoke Newington, north London, and police found her alone at a bus stop in Waltham Forest, east London, almost four hours later in the early hours of the morning.
Doctors identified 56 injuries when she was examined at hospital,
Parveen, who is a mother-of-three, accepted causing some of the injuries with the ten inch cooking spoon but said others must have been caused when the girl 'fell over.'
Prosecutor Tom Nicholson told the court an argument started between Parveen and the girl on August 15 last year during Ramadan.
'The girl was praying from the Koran and Ms Parveen accused her of lying about how many of the verses she had read,' he said.
'She was 10 at the time. Ms Parveen took a metal spoon about 10 inches in size and the Crown's case is that she hit the child with it repeatedly over a half an hour period, causing extensive bruising over both arms, her legs and head.

'The Crown's case is that Ms Parveen said she was going to kill the girl and ran to get a knife from the kitchen.
'The girl had no alternative but to leave at around 10pm.
'She got a bus and a train and it was about 1.50am when the police found her at a bus stop in Broadway Parade, Waltham Forest.
'She was on her own and extremely cold. She was taken to hospital and an examination found she had suffered 56 injuries.'
Parveen admitted a single count of child cruelty but insisted that she only used the spoon once or twice on the girl's arms and bottom.
She claimed the other injuries had been the result of the girl falling over. Parveen also denied threatening to kill the 10-year-old or picking up a knife.
Judge Martyn Zeidman accepted Parveen's basis of plea, saying it would not be in the public interest for the child to give evidence.
'The defendant has accepted she behaved in the wrong way towards the girl and there is absolutely no doubt that she behaved disgracefully,' the judge said.
'Before the violence, she says had been asked to stretch her arms up in the air for a period of four hours.
'She says she was hit all over with a spoon on her arms, legs, head and back about 20 times.
'The basis of plea is that the defendant only admits causing injuries to the girl's arms and bottom.
'On the face of it, the defence assertion is incredible. But I don't regard it in the public interest to make the child give evidence.
'In any view, the defendant has behaved in an absolutely disgraceful way, and what an irony that the child was encouraged to behave in a godly fashion when this was far from godly.
'But I undertake to sentence the defendant on her version of events and avoid further distress to the child.'
Adjourning the case until June 15 for reports, Judge Zeidman told Parveen: 'I'm releasing you on bail but that gives no indication on what will be the eventual sentence.
'All options are open so you must not assume that because you got bail you will necessarily avoid an immediate prison sentence.'
Parveen, of Hackney, north London, will be sentenced on June 15.

Asia Parveen: Caused 57 injuries to the child and later claimed her violent outburst was prompted by hormones
A Muslim woman who repeatedly beat a ten-year-old girl with a steel ladle for not reading enough verses of the Koran was jailed yesterday.
Asia Parveen, who was five months pregnant at the time, left the child with 57 injuries and later claimed her violent outburst was prompted by her hormones.
The girl managed to escape when Parveen ran to her kitchen for a knife, and was found alone at a bus stop in the early hours of the morning.
Parveen, 31, had argued with the girl on August 15 last year, Snaresbrook Crown Court in London heard.
She accused the girl of lying about how many verses of the Koran she had read while praying.
She then hit the girl with the ten- inch ladle for 45 minutes and forced her to stand with her arms outstretched for four hours.
The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, escaped when Parveen went to fetch a knife which she brandished, saying she was going to kill her.
She was found four hours later, alone and in the cold at the bus stop, by police.
Doctors identified 57 injuries, including marks on her arms, legs, elbows and head, when she was examined at hospital.
Parveen, a former professional traditional dancer who had toured worldwide, had been fasting for the Muslim holy month of Ramadan before the attack.
She was considered to be ‘immoral’ by some in the community in Pakistan for her former dancing career and so wanted the girl to take her religious duties seriously.
Parveen, a mother of three, accepted causing some of the girl’s injuries with the ladle but claimed that others must have happened when the girl ‘fell over’.
Tom Nicholson, prosecuting, said: ‘The girl was praying from the Koran and Mrs Parveen accused her of lying about how many of the verses she had read.
‘She was ten at the time. Mrs Parveen took a metal spoon about ten inches in size and hit the child with it repeatedly, causing extensive bruising over both arms, her legs and head.
‘Mrs Parveen said she was going to kill the girl and ran to get a knife from the kitchen.
‘The girl had no alternative but to leave at around 10pm.’
Jailed: Asia Parveen launched 'a sustained and vicious attack' with a metal ladle
Jailing Parveen, who is now divorced, for nine months, Judge Martyn Zeidman ignored pleas in a letter from the child victim to spare her jail.
He said: ‘You need to understand that this was outrageous behaviour and if you ever attack a child again, you will go to prison for very much longer.
'Of course the injuries itself were not life-threatening but there were so many of them and the pictures and the body plan prepared by the paediatrician demonstrate there were 57 injuries.
‘Having a very young baby should not be seen as a get out of jail card.’
Parveen, who lives in Hackney, East London, admitted a single count of child cruelty after initially insisting she had used the spoon only once or twice on the girl’s arms and bottom.
During further court proceedings, she admitted in a second plea that she had lost her temper after feeling ‘hormonal’, ‘isolated’ and ‘ashamed’.
She claimed the other injuries had been the result of the girl falling over.
She also denied threatening to kill the ten-year-old or picking up a knife.
Parveen, who was told the verdict by her Punjabi interpreter, collapsed in the dock while being led down to the cells by guards.
She needed an interpreter to understand the sentence. Nine months is long enough to learn English.
Now if I had been the judge, she would have had face a much longer sentence for passing porkies
See the porkie? Ho! Ho!
DURATION OF SAWM: (Fasting)
Fasting starts everyday in Ramadan at the break of dawn, which is also the start of the Salatul Fajr time. Fasting ends at sunset or with the call of Salatul Maghrib
WHO IS EXEMPT FROM SAWM?
Fasting is mandatory on every Muslim who is sane, adult, able and resident. The following exemptions apply:
Of course, we cannot expect the judge to read and understand the Sharia Law that Parveen claims to be following. If he was to even attempt to interpret her statements as corresponding to Islam, he would be an Islamophobe, wouldn't he? Because only a Muslim is allowed to tell the dumb kaffir what his sacred religion means, even when it means killing the kaffir.
Mohammed lives on in the beating of children
Coventry mosque leader stabbed child with pen and beat other youngsters
A religious leader at a Coventry mosque beat children aged as young as nine - including stabbing one with a pen.
Mohammed Karamat, 45, will learn his fate later this week after admitting four counts of assault.
Magistrates watched footage of Karamat twisting a child’s arm, slapping a child, and using a pen to stab a child and pricking a child’s hand with the lid of a pen.
John Bartlett, prosecuting, told the court: “Just to give you a flavour of the snippets, the first video shows a twisting of the arm, and there is a back-handed motion on one of the children, and there is also signs of a pen used to stab a nine-year-old a number of times.
“It appears the child is in pain and pulls back to prevent being stabbed.
“One clip shows him grabbing a child round the back of the neck, pushing the neck towards the table.
“He is also seen slapping a child to the back of the head.”
The 10 year olds have learned the lessons of Islamic violence!
