From Michael Knowles re the previous story

A professor, Dr. Erica Lopez, has just lost her job because she showed a picture of Muhammad in a course on Islamic art. Islamic art. Muhammad. You would think that these things go together. But most people know that Muslims find images of physical depictions of Muhammad to be sacrilegious. And the teacher acknowledged this fairly; she gave a warning beforehand and said, “Hey, some people might find this offensive, but it's a course on Islamic art.” Of course, a student complained to school leaders who then decided to fire the teacher. The reason? “Respect for the observant Muslim students in that classroom should have superseded academic freedom.”

Now, you’ll hear a lot of conservatives say that this is outrageous and that nothing should supersede academic freedom… but that’s not my point of view. I don't think there's any such thing as academic freedom. I don't think teachers have a right to teach whatever they want in the classroom. I do, however, think that this professor had a right and, frankly, an obligation to present these images in a course on Islamic art. But I'm not denying that Muslim students might have been offended and they might have considered it sacrilegious. And I think it would be a good thing in this country if we offered people of different religious views far greater respect than we do in our extremely atheistic culture. But we can't just ban images of Muhammad in Islamic art classrooms.

I promise you, a teacher could get up and blaspheme Jesus, could mock the God of the Bible, could say it's all a ridiculous, stupid, made-up story contrived by a bunch of lunatics who were afraid of a magical sky daddy, and you wouldn't hear boo about it. But it is politically incorrect to, in any way, disparage an image of Muhammad, or in any way to transgress some practice of Islam. Forget about Christianity. Forget about Judaism. That's the only reason they did it. They're not doing it to protect Muslims. They're doing it to protect political correctness.

The nonsense continues

Minnesota Professor Who Was Fired After Showing Images Of Muhammad During Class Sues University: Report

A Hamline University professor who was fired after showing images of Muhammad in her art class is now reportedly filing a lawsuit against the school.

Dr. Erika Lopez Prater, who lost her job as an art professor after showing the images in a course on Islamic art, filed the legal action on Tuesday, according to FOX 9 Minneapolis-St. Paul.

“Hamline’s actions and statements may have constituted religious discrimination, defamation, and other violations of law,” attorneys representing Prater said, according to FOX 9.

“Hamline’s actions have caused significant damage to Dr. López Prater. In the near term, she has lost the income from her adjunct position. She alleges she also suffered significant emotional distress due to her mistreatment by Hamline,” they continued.

The lawsuit seeks compensation for lost wages, future lost wages, damages for emotional distress, and punitive damages, according to the outlet.

“Now, whenever she applies to any of these colleges for a tenure track position, and they just happen to Google her name, it’s inextricably intertwined with this allegation of Islamophobia,” Prater’s attorney David Redden said during an interview with FOX 9. “So I think it’s going to have serious repercussions on her efforts to find a tenure track position and really get her career going.”

“Hamline is a multi-cultural, multi-religious community that has been a leader in creating space for civil conversations. Like all organizations, sometimes we misstep,” the university said in a statement released after the lawsuit was announced.

Prater distributed a syllabus for the fall class that warned students that the course would include images of religious figures, including Islam’s founder, Muhammad. The instructor also reportedly warned students in the minutes prior to showing the images in case any students believed they needed to leave the classroom.

As The Daily Wire previously reported, the professor showed two paintings that included a famous 14th-century painting depicting Muhammad and the archangel Gabriel and a 16th-century painting of Muhammad with a veil and halo.

A senior student in the course complained to school leaders, who ultimately decided to cut ties with the professor.

Sorry, but I went to watch their Youtube videos but gave up after an intro track with awful loud music went on forever. For TED talks they say that if you haven't captured the audience's attention in the first 20 seconds, you are lost. Those videos just spend the first 30 seconds wasting your time. It's a shame because some of the articles are good.

I am pleased to have just discovered a website which does not shy away from the true nature of Islam.

One of their podcasts here states the uncomfortable truth to modern ears that 'The Crusades were Necessary'

The CEO of this Site / Project speaks on these podcasts but also here:

The Evidence of Evil.
This is pure jibberish and nonsense to me and clear evidence that all conspiracy theories are stupid and based on ignorance and imaginations gone wild.
Fact- demons do not exist.
and a conspiracy is impossible to maintain over long periods of time and through generations. (Prejudice and heritage are a different case).
I live with a conspiracy idiot that genuinely believes That bill gates and co want to kill billions of people and enslave those that are left so that some mystical elite can rule and control. And that the covid 19 vaccine injects microbots into the system that enable mindcontrol.
She also believes that god the devil angels and demons exist. For all of which there is not and cannot be any evidence.
All of this religious and conspiracy nonsense exists only in the feeble minds of the idiots that believe in the stuff.
(Is that a fact?- is the most vital question you can ask. And-can you prove what you are saying is true?).
It is all pure speculation. Real conspiracies exist only on a limited scale and for a limited amount of time.
They seize upon and misinterpret every political scientific or natural event and refer to all sorts of prophecies to refer back to and confirm an already erroneous belief. Such as: the end of days.
Basically wrong and illogical thinking.
Evil is nothing more tha human behaviour.

Muslim Terrorism Count

Thousands of Deadly Islamic Terror Attacks Since 9/11

Mission Overview

Most Western societies are based on Secular Democracy, which itself is based on the concept that the open marketplace of ideas leads to the optimum government. Whilst that model has been very successful, it has defects. The 4 Freedoms address 4 of the principal vulnerabilities, and gives corrections to them.

At the moment, one of the main actors exploiting these defects, is Islam, so this site pays particular attention to that threat.

Islam, operating at the micro and macro levels, is unstoppable by individuals, hence: "It takes a nation to protect the nation". There is not enough time to fight all its attacks, nor to read them nor even to record them. So the members of 4F try to curate a representative subset of these events.

We need to capture this information before it is removed.  The site already contains sufficient information to cover most issues, but our members add further updates when possible.

We hope that free nations will wake up to stop the threat, and force the separation of (Islamic) Church and State. This will also allow moderate Muslims to escape from their totalitarian political system.

The 4 Freedoms

These 4 freedoms are designed to close 4 vulnerabilities in Secular Democracy, by making them SP or Self-Protecting (see Hobbes's first law of nature). But Democracy also requires - in addition to the standard divisions of Executive, Legislature & Judiciary - a fourth body, Protector of the Open Society (POS), to monitor all its vulnerabilities (see also Popper).
1. SP Freedom of Speech
Any speech is allowed - except that advocating the end of these freedoms
2. SP Freedom of Election
Any party is allowed - except one advocating the end of these freedoms
3. SP Freedom from Voter Importation
Immigration is allowed - except where that changes the political demography (this is electoral fraud)
4. SP Freedom from Debt
The Central Bank is allowed to create debt - except where that debt burden can pass across a generation (25 years).

An additional Freedom from Religion is deducible if the law is applied equally to everyone:

  • Religious and cultural activities are exempt from legal oversight except where they intrude into the public sphere (Res Publica)"
