It was Mark Steyn that said that, making a funny joke about the ‘DREAMers’, but I can’t remember the rest of the joke...

PPE. I seem to remember someone saying that he would rather be governed by people selected at random from a telephone catalogue than the politicians that get elected.

Any reasonably capable person that desires power can just join a major political party and work his way up the ranks by always seeking leadership at each level.

The country used to be run by old Etonians, now it is run by people that have no interest in getting a useful education or job; such as a surgeon or bricklayer. University is for layabouts.

Philosophy, politics and economics sounds like a useful line of study if you want to get on in the world, as long as it is an education and not a subtle indoctrination in international socialism.

We have all been exposed to an education; what explains me is that I was given an imperialist education that has caused me to question modern day education, thinking and changes in society. My early education was nationalist, patriotic and anglocentric. The world maps in use still had the British Empire painted in red upon them. In its attitudes to subjects, it was knowledge and ability based upon very practical learning. The subjects were metalwork, carpentry, technical drawing, art, history, mathematics, english, science, religion, sports and geography. And I believe that they were relatively objective. We had a seven hour day.

It gave me a thirst for knowledge, an understanding of logic, pride in a job well done and a thing well made, discipline and self-confidence.

PPE: “….It actually causes huge problems as it encourages people like Cameron and Ed Balls to … spread bad ideas with lots of confidence and bluffing.”

-“…The students were overwhelmingly leftish.” A current PPE third-year says: “Nearly every academic at Oxford who teaches politics is a liberal,…”

The course produces people that refer to impossible ideals when faced with a problem instead of seeking practical solutions.

A director of strategy!? “Graham taught the future Labour ministers Yvette Cooper, Kitty Ussher and James Purnell, now the BBC’s director of strategy. Ussher remembers….”

This Guardian article describes the socialist takeover of the universities.

Leftist NGOs:

“…many politically inclined graduates go on to work for charities, aid agencies, activist groups, the World Bank, the United Nations.”

“…Regardless, over recent decades two dozen other British universities have set up their own PPE courses…”

It is a present day form of power socialism that does not understand populism, i. e. the will of the people and human nature. The will of the people has never concerned the socialists. They think that they know better.

Next time surround and seal the mosque and send in weapons.

You are right Allan but we are in the white man's dilemma, we have been too successful. It did not occur to us that we would be under attack internally and need to defend ourselves. We developed a liberal society because we believed that our weapons could defend us against any sort of external enemy.

We lost the universities and any pretense of an objective or patriotic media. We had no way to predict the threat posed by socialism, we even voted in people like Harold Wilson and the Labour Party, the universities and NGOs are basically liberal in principle and easily dominated by leftists and their “love all of humanity” equality.

Like flower power and all of that, within strong borders you can live in an imagined reality of universal fraternity, but those principles open the borders and the nasties get in. And they are nasties, they do not come in peace and love. So we rendered ourselves defenceless and did not maintain our borders. I would say fools like that do not deserve to survive; the murderers, rapists thieves and religious fanatics are upon us.

What can save us is only the slight chance that some sort of ruthless regime will sieze power. So you understand how Hitler came to power and the dreadful despair that the Germans felt after their defeat, with no hope and no future and no defence. Which is what some of us feel now, utterly betrayed and vulnerable.

It does all deeply depress me.

Too true, but I only said relatively a waste of time, I don't want to be too depressing :-)

I just think that, if only our people had spent the last 10 years on getting positions in existing NGOs and universities, or in setting up our own eligible foundations, we'd be so much stronger.

movements and people rising up.

It does seem like a waste of time sometimes Alan, and perhaps it is. But that will not stop me. I believe in a political solution caused through us enlightening the masses.

I look for positive signs such as AfD in Germany and Orban in Hungary. The Progress party in Norway is also chipping away at powers like the EU. Norway voted NO twice to full membership in the EU. Israel, Trump, a slight move to the Right in politics, movementand people rising.

I hold out a hope that Socialism is dying, I sincerely hope so. People are self-centred and unfortunately apathetic. All most of us want is more money to buy our toys and snacks with, but that is also human nature. Reality is getting through despite the best efforts of the leftist media. Only complete idiots like our leaders cannot see the lunacy of Islam and of the destruction of nation states.

If anything, disappointment makes me more determined to fight. I do not have a very high opinion of humanity in general, the idiots are the majority. I choose mostly to see the everyday heroes and the wise people that react to rights being taken away from them and injustice being done to them. People are not blind to the way that Muslims and non-European immigrants behave and the contempt and hatred that they have for whites. Then there are the giants and heroes like; Nelson, Watts, Brunel, Newton, Mozart, Einstein, Shakespeare, a vast list of great European scientists, engineers, soldiers, philosophers, statesmen and artists. They are our pride, our heritage and our culture. As are you and I and all that have worked to build or fought to defend what is ours for hundreds and thousands of years. It is our culture and our history. The Muslims and  Africans and Asians have their own culture, history and lineage distinct from ours. It is up to them to live out their destinies there where they belong, instead of coming here and polluting and infesting that which is in no way theirs.

They should be sent back to their own homelands and find somehow the self-respect and pride enough to enable them to build and develope their own nations and cultures.

Right now they are parasites and criminals that should be ashamed of themselves, if they had any shame that is.

Muslim Terrorism Count

Thousands of Deadly Islamic Terror Attacks Since 9/11

Mission Overview

Most Western societies are based on Secular Democracy, which itself is based on the concept that the open marketplace of ideas leads to the optimum government. Whilst that model has been very successful, it has defects. The 4 Freedoms address 4 of the principal vulnerabilities, and gives corrections to them.

At the moment, one of the main actors exploiting these defects, is Islam, so this site pays particular attention to that threat.

Islam, operating at the micro and macro levels, is unstoppable by individuals, hence: "It takes a nation to protect the nation". There is not enough time to fight all its attacks, nor to read them nor even to record them. So the members of 4F try to curate a representative subset of these events.

We need to capture this information before it is removed.  The site already contains sufficient information to cover most issues, but our members add further updates when possible.

We hope that free nations will wake up to stop the threat, and force the separation of (Islamic) Church and State. This will also allow moderate Muslims to escape from their totalitarian political system.

The 4 Freedoms

These 4 freedoms are designed to close 4 vulnerabilities in Secular Democracy, by making them SP or Self-Protecting (see Hobbes's first law of nature). But Democracy also requires - in addition to the standard divisions of Executive, Legislature & Judiciary - a fourth body, Protector of the Open Society (POS), to monitor all its vulnerabilities (see also Popper).
1. SP Freedom of Speech
Any speech is allowed - except that advocating the end of these freedoms
2. SP Freedom of Election
Any party is allowed - except one advocating the end of these freedoms
3. SP Freedom of Movement
The government can import new voters - except where that changes the political demographics (i.e. electoral fraud by means of immigration)
4. SP Freedom from Over-spending
People should not be charged for government systems which they reject, and which give them no benefit. For example, the government cannot pass a debt burden across generations (25 years).
An additional Freedom from Religion is be deducible by equal application of law: "Religious and cultural activities are exempt from legal oversight - except where they intrude into the public sphere (Res Publica)"
