It takes a nation to protect the nation

In one of the interviews Tommy Robinson conducted with Gerrard Batten, the leader of the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP), Mr Batten said to (paraphrase) that to deal effectively with Islam in the UK we must first leave the European Union (EU).

Without doing that it is like fighting a war on two fronts.  Not impossible to win but still the chances of success would be greatly improved if we eliminated one of our enemies.  And make no mistake about it.  The Bureaucracy in Brussels, the EU project is an enemy of democracy and freedom.

The official departure date of the UK from the EU is 29 March 2019.  But though only a few weeks away, the nature of that departure is still uncertain and even the departure itself is up in the air.

To mark this generational crisis and opportunity to this country and the EU I wish to note here my thoughts and hopes; and reproduce some of the comments from other sources I have gleaned about this whole struggle to leave a politically sick and debilitating arrangement.

I trust this forum will make things clearer for those outside the country.

[On 9 December 2018 at a pro-brexit rally in London I wrote the following talking points for a friend.]

Brexit talking points and why we must leave

It is Brexit or Brussels

The British people are sovereign; the Brexit vote must be respected.

The British people knew exactly what we voted for.

We voted for sovereignty and freedom.

We do not need guidance or rule from politicians and Courts of the European Union – we have enough trouble with our own politicians and Courts!

Rule by Brussels means no accountability by those who make serious decisions about our lives.  If we have problems with our political servants – notice I said ‘servants’ NOT masters – we can give them the boot at the next election.

Operation fear is on full throttle.  Everyone seems to know the future these days.  We are told of the many made-up disasters that will befall our nation and Europe should we leave the EU.

People who promote this type of thinking assume that the majority of people value economic matters more than our social and political life; that we are merely money orientated.  That is an incomplete and paltry view of humanity, which I do not share.

But we are not afraid of the future.

We are a proud and resourceful nation.  We have not only managed and survived many troubles in our history we have thrived – and we have done so without interference or meddling from Europe.  We can and will do so again after 29 March 2019.

There is loose talk about the possibility of "no Brexit at all" but that would be the greatest betrayal that this country and democracy will have faced.  Would our political leaders dare to thwart the vote of 17.4 million people?  Would they dare?

Even those who voted to remain should also fear the non-implementation of the Brexit vote.  They should know that if Politicians ignore the Brexit vote they can ignore any vote in the future.  Democracy itself is at stake.

Those who campaign to reverse the decision do not believe in democracy.  They do not believe in basic political freedoms like freedom of speech and assembly; if they did we would not need all the police here and now to protect us from being attacked by the counter protesters.

We want our country back and to be fully in control of our borders, our land and surrounding waters, our laws, our businesses, and our future.

In a few weeks a United Nations committee (to be signed on the 10th and 11th of December, 2018) is trying to push through a document to be signed by all members to create a new “human right” for foreign migrants and migration.  Many countries are refusing to sign this document but Britain still has refused to say whether we will sign it.  This UN document is just another attempt by the Globalists to undermine national sovereignty and chip-away at our national rights.  [update: sadly our ‘leaders’ signed this document.  I am sure we will be adversely affected all too soon once the court cases and appeals start.]

After 29 March 2019 we will be an example to other disgruntled European countries, which will soon get tired of the shackles of Brussels.  If we can leave, so too can other countries.

We can put the ‘Great’ back into Great Britain and make it mean something again.  We need not apologise for our past and we can be proud of our future.

To take responsibility for our national destiny is a sign of a mature and resourceful people.

To love our country is what will save our country.  And there is nothing wrong with that.

The EU bureaucrats and Globalists do not understand our patriotism but they will have to live with it after 29 March next year.

Remainers like Bill Chapman below claim that they "have never heard a good reason for leaving the EU"

The problem is of course that they neither listen nor read the case for Brexit for fear that they cannot respond with a legitimate rebuttal nor carefully crafted reason for staying in the EU.

So Bill let's be having your reply to the following CASE FOR BREXIT:

"The more I read and hear from those campaigning to remain in the EU, it seems ever clearer that their arguments are little more than spurious speculation - particularly on economic matters - or downright lies when it comes to immigration control and security. Their endorsement of the EU is based on remorseless scare-mongering in the hope that the generally careless and gullible modern British public will be sufficiently frightened into accepting May’s WA BRINO fudge.

This utterly negative and disingenuous approach completely ignores the incontrovertible fact – and the one in my opinion which most underpins and defines the debate - that the ‘devil’ they are so keen on promoting means a future of our being subjected to much more EU hegemony, political and economic connivances, financial profligacy, abject incompetence, lies, corruption and insecurity; and the humiliation that inevitably results from dictatorial bullying and the loss of national freedoms, sovereignty and democracy.

The remain campaigners also disregard - mainly from their deplorable ignorance of historical precedent - that sovereign freedom and democracy and the profound depth of national pride and wellbeing that these engender (which I believe we have lost since we became subject to the EU’s bullying dominance) are hard to win and maintain; especially when the enormity of the destruction of lives, prosperity and property my parents’ generation sacrificed in WW2 to achieve them is largely ignored or misunderstood today by the young, and Europhiles in particular.

It is thus seen by the remain camp and their target audience as irrelevant to the debate.

Sadly, as past, recent and unfolding events testify, freedom and democracy are all too easily lost; and more so when left in the hands of self serving MP mediocrity, global corporatists, money-men and the ‘all handed on a plate’ lax generations that have followed those who actually fought and died for that which we all accept, enjoy and expect as our British birthright.

The time therefore has long since passed for all MPs and members of our wider public to consider the following factors in favour of Brexit which so far no remainer has been adequately able to rebut:

  1. The EU remains rigidly wedded to ‘ever closer integration’ and continues to state vehemently that this is the answer to every current and future economic, political, immigration and security problem. Given that ‘ever closer integration’ inexorably demands the complete dissolution of the freedoms and sovereignties of national parliaments and peoples - including the British - this proves beyond any reasonable doubt that the EU has not reformed and has no intention of ever being reformed or diverted from its principal project of creating a Colonial European Empire of vassal states.
  2. May’s negotiations to date and in the future will merely secure Britain’s further loss of sovereignty and an increase of the unrelenting flow of bullying humiliation from Brussels.
  3. NATO, primarily with US and British input, has established and maintained the security of Europe over the past 50 years - not the EU/EEC. The EU in fact has in recent years both caused (as in the Ukraine) and seriously compounded (as in Syria and Turkey) security crises.
  4. As currently established - a top heavy bureaucratic monstrosity of 28 economically, politically and culturally disparate nations - the EU has become utterly incompetent and unfit for purpose both domestically and abroad. This is particularly highlighted by the Greek economic and refugee debacle, Mutti’s unilateral welcome to a million immigrants ( 1 in a100 of whom are likely jihadis), the rapid rise of far right neo-Nazism in every EU partner nation, youth unemployment across the Eurozone and the ongoing pan-European immigrant, refugee and Muslim terrorist and economic crises.
  5. If Britain leaves the EU her borders can be easily secured; leading to proper control and monitoring of immigration and concomitant terrorist infiltration.
  6. The money purportedly given as EU grants to various British institutions, organizations and businesses – who fear losing EU financial support if we leave, including the BBC, farmers and universities - essentially comes from the British taxpayer: i.e. rebated from Britain’s colossal £55 million daily EU club membership fee. There is therefore no reason why appropriate British grants to worthy causes should not continue after Brexit.
  7. The current Parliamentary remain humbug is inevitably being spun by the EU as a British endorsement of its current and future purpose. In other words a vote for any of May’s BRINO fudges will have the de facto consequence of Great Britain consigning its destiny as a once proud, courageous, free, democratically independent and sovereign nation into the hands of an incompetent and corrupt crony elite of foreign bullies whose aim is to rule Europe from one central Government; with one political agenda, one economy, one armed forces, one police force and one judiciary.

It cannot be emphasised enough that voting to remain was NOT about maintaining the status quo or for better conditions in a supposedly reformed EU. What it was and is all about is the endorsement of a currently unreformed and unreformable EU political agenda that has only one direction – our total subjugation (along with that of all other member states) by a bombastically incompetent, unelected and undemocratically founded hegemony: and one which, presaged by all the lessons of Continental history, will I believe inevitably lead again to widespread bloodshed and destruction throughout Europe and beyond.

In summary, Brexit is about restoring for posterity our national family’s heart, soul, pride, wellbeing, prosperity, security, integrity, courage and honour as an independent democracy as PART of Europe but NOT governed by it; nor enslaved and diminished as a vassal state within it."

Cameron promised a ‘straightforward, in-out referendum.

In black & white, Cameron promised that the government would implement what we decided.

May said that no deal was better than a bad deal.

In black and white, the Tory manifesto promised to deliver on Brexit - out of the single market, customs union and ECJ influence.

May’s WA [withdrawal agreement] is not Brexit.

She is damned for ever as a liar, and most of the party she leads are blackguards.

They must be punished at the ballot-box.

So we have the choice of May's No Brexit or Parliament's No Brexit? No thanks. The ERG should vote down May's scandalous capitulation and dare the Labour party and the so-called Tories of Remain to do their worst. We will deal with them, never fear. Their rumps will never touch green leather again. It has come down to yet another Court and Country conflict - just like 1642 or indeed 1688. You might say compromise is preferable to all out crisis - but where's the compromise? May's deal hands the EU everything in return for nothing - nothing, Mr F[orsyth]. Nothing. And if they treat us like that, it is about time we organised the dustiest possible answer.

Has our Parliament reached this level of betrayal, yet?

Oliver Cromwell: 'In the name of God, go!' speech dismissing Rump Parliament - 1653

'Ye have no more religion than my horse.'

20 April 1653, London, England

It is high time for me to put an end to your sitting in this place,

which you have dishonored by your contempt of all virtue, and defiled by your practice of every vice.

Ye are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government.

Ye are a pack of mercenary wretches, and would like Esau sell your country for a mess of pottage, and like Judas betray your God for a few pieces of money.

Is there a single virtue now remaining amongst you? Is there one vice you do not possess?

Ye have no more religion than my horse. Gold is your God. Which of you have not bartered your conscience for bribes? Is there a man amongst you that has the least care for the good of the Commonwealth?

Ye sordid prostitutes have you not defiled this sacred place, and turned the Lord's temple into a den of thieves, by your immoral principles and wicked practices?

Ye are grown intolerably odious to the whole nation. You were deputed here by the people to get grievances redressed, are yourselves become the greatest grievance.

Your country therefore calls upon me to cleanse this Augean stable, by putting a final period to your iniquitous proceedings in this House; and which by God's help, and the strength he has given me, I am now come to do.

I command ye therefore, upon the peril of your lives, to depart immediately out of this place.

Go, get you out! Make haste! Ye venal slaves be gone! So! Take away that shining bauble there, and lock up the doors.

In the name of God, go!

This comment is from the DT the day after Theresa May announced that she will leave office on 7 June.

Be afraid Tories and Labour.

Your Brexit betrayal is big but it’s simply the catalyst for the electorate choosing to react now against every betrayal you’ve made over decades.

Illegal wars, giving sovereignty away to the EU, expenses scandal, gold plated public sector pensions, producer led NHS, multiculturalism, political correctness, open borders, Cultural Marxism, degraded military, neutered police, obscene levels of overseas aid and e u contributions, corrupt MPs, allowing virtue signalling to take over the whole state and business apparatus , environmental ideologues determining government policy, demonising the majority while lauding minorities, destroyed state finances, useless civil service.

All the vague irritation, anger, frustration, contempt, disgust, disrespect we have felt at your complete and utter lies, betrayals, arrogance, corruption and incompetence are now being crystallised into something real, tangible.

We are sick of you and we are sick that you have mobilised the media, the state apparatus, the police, the paid for globalist and left wing activists against us.

At the same time there’s a voice articulating those feelings and views politically and that voice is the Brexit Party .

That changes it from a democratic tsunami to Armageddon for the elites and Westminster , an altogether different and permanent thing

Emily Thornberry, Labour MP for Islington S & Finsbury. Shadow 1st Secretary. Shadow Foreign & Commonwealth Sec.

To distract from Labour’s dismal showing in the MEP elections Ms Thornberry decided to treat us to the breaking news that Tommy Robinson was not elected as an MEP and described him as a ‘nasty little man.’ She did this as a member of a panel on the BBC coverage of the MEP elections.  The topic at the time was another area and therefore Tommy's region was not even under discussion. I found her to be a bully who wanted to always talk over the representatives from the Brexit Party and the Conservative Party. And the BBC moderator allowed her to do that.

Well Tommy polled over 38,000 votes, which is a great first time effort considering the forces ranged against him.

One of the unexpected benefits of the threat (and hopefully reality) of Brexit is the creation of Brexit refugees (sic!).

Judge pronounces Somali 'brexit returnees'! Somali family gets home

By Bart Reijmerink August 23, 2019

A Somali-Dutch family fled from Birmingham to the Netherlands. According to the court in Utrecht, they must get a house immediately. Fortunately, all that new gas-free homes are unaffordable and are not bought, they can immediately move into these expensive properties.

Apparently, even more - as many as 25,000 - Somalis want to make the crossing to our little country.

This way it will be pleasantly busy on the already tight housing market. Various ministries have even run a campaign to combat the flow of 'refugees'. It should not be a problem if we have courts that will place these people directly in homes. This signal is a license to still come here. The British must be happy I guess.

The Somalis were already here in the Netherlands in the 1990s, but they preferred to move to England. In England they were allowed to live in their own enclaves, something that the Netherlands tried to prevent. Various municipalities refused to offer housing to the family that arrived here. This is because they would be 'culpably homeless'. What it comes down to is that they didn't actually think about the crossing. They have left an excellent - and safe - residential area to be able to benefit more here. According to various municipalities, this is not how it works.

Yet the judge thought differently. All that trouble from our government and then the court decides to issue a license for immigration.

They received signals that there were concerns, so we sent the message there in Somali that there is no reason to panic. We told them that nothing will change for them for the time being after the Brexit. They are fine there. "

This time the government had the good intention, but the judiciary suddenly does the opposite. We will see if there are more to come now, certainly with the fear of the Brexit in mind.

A friend sent this to me.

This bit of Kipling poem seems appropriate for where we are:

The Saxon is not like us Normans.

His manners are not so polite.

But he never means anything serious till he talks about justice and right.

When he stands like an ox in the furrow – with his sullen set eyes on your own,

And grumbles, 'This isn't fair dealing,' my son, leave the Saxon alone.

"You can horsewhip your Gascony archers, or torture your Picardy spears;

But don't try that game on the Saxon;

you'll have the whole brood round your ears.

From the richest old Thane in the county to the poorest chained serf in the field,

They'll be at you and on you like hornets, and, if you are wise, you will yield.

I have mixed feelings about those kinds of poems and morale boosters. Fifty years ago they were great - they actually corresponded to how people felt and could cause a unified feeling of fellowship and action. But now, the newer generations don't even really grasp what feelings those poems and hymns and anthems are pointing at, and they don't know any of the words.

Muslim Terrorism Count

Thousands of Deadly Islamic Terror Attacks Since 9/11

Mission Overview

Most Western societies are based on Secular Democracy, which itself is based on the concept that the open marketplace of ideas leads to the optimum government. Whilst that model has been very successful, it has defects. The 4 Freedoms address 4 of the principal vulnerabilities, and gives corrections to them.

At the moment, one of the main actors exploiting these defects, is Islam, so this site pays particular attention to that threat.

Islam, operating at the micro and macro levels, is unstoppable by individuals, hence: "It takes a nation to protect the nation". There is not enough time to fight all its attacks, nor to read them nor even to record them. So the members of 4F try to curate a representative subset of these events.

We need to capture this information before it is removed.  The site already contains sufficient information to cover most issues, but our members add further updates when possible.

We hope that free nations will wake up to stop the threat, and force the separation of (Islamic) Church and State. This will also allow moderate Muslims to escape from their totalitarian political system.

The 4 Freedoms

These 4 freedoms are designed to close 4 vulnerabilities in Secular Democracy, by making them SP or Self-Protecting (see Hobbes's first law of nature). But Democracy also requires - in addition to the standard divisions of Executive, Legislature & Judiciary - a fourth body, Protector of the Open Society (POS), to monitor all its vulnerabilities (see also Popper).
1. SP Freedom of Speech
Any speech is allowed - except that advocating the end of these freedoms
2. SP Freedom of Election
Any party is allowed - except one advocating the end of these freedoms
3. SP Freedom from Voter Importation
Immigration is allowed - except where that changes the political demography (this is electoral fraud)
4. SP Freedom from Debt
The Central Bank is allowed to create debt - except where that debt burden can pass across a generation (25 years).

An additional Freedom from Religion is deducible if the law is applied equally to everyone:

  • Religious and cultural activities are exempt from legal oversight except where they intrude into the public sphere (Res Publica)"
