Homelessness is a big issue in the US but it is swept under the carpet. Perhaps all those demonstrating for illegal immigration to the US should be forced to take a homeless person into their own home first, before they are allowed to demonstrate again. Those demonstrators are showing the classic SJW halo polishing, whereby they are generous with other people's money, safety and sense of community.

These stories are very tragic, and relate to people born in the US, but of course, that does not make them a fashionable enough victim group at the moment - not enough point scoring for a good virtue signal, so why should any of the Progressives bother? Much better to flaunt your 'sanctuary city' status and let the little people be ground down and die.
Charlottsville: Unite the Right Demotag:4freedoms.com,2017-08-20:3766518:Topic:1899062017-08-20T03:42:32.329ZAlan Lakehttp://4freedoms.com/profile/AlanLake

Many people are commenting on the Trump victory, as it being people rejecting the 'system', voting for change, sick of being told they are racist, homophobic, islamophobic, etc.

For me, the big take-away was what the failure of the polls shows, as with Brexit. That failure clearly shows the spread of fascist groups in the US (and the UK). Because of the neo-Nazi pseudo-liberals, that hunt down and destroy everyone that opposes their narrative, people are learning to keep quiet about what they really think. Hence it was inevitable that Trump supporters would represent a vast block of hidden votes. The neo-fascists of the Left are killing off free speech and forcing anyone who disagrees with them to hide.

As you will know from 4F alone, over time, at least 1/3rd of all the videos we reference, perhaps even as much as 1/2, over time, get removed by Youtube, or the account gets terminated. Black Pidgeon had a video removed that was merely giving the reported facts from mainstream newspapers, about crimes committed by immigrants. That particular one was about rapes and abuse of children - the aim being to try get action to stop it. Yet it seems that even that spotless goal, falls foul of the Leftists desire to elevate immigrants to a superior position of impunity for their actions.

I just found that Colin Flaherty's channel has been terminated as well. This is no small matter, even if you hadn't heard of him. Colin Flaherty had many well produced, thoroughly researched and documented videos on his channel, rooted in fact. The loss of his channel represents a significant loss of material needed by people that wish to back up their arguments against Black Lies Matter and others. It also raises the issue that, if they can shut down Flaherty, who was merely collecting and re-organising news material from other sources, with proper references and validation, merely because they don't like the conclusions you could draw from that material, they can shut down anyone. I think Gates of Vienna said, of Muslims, that the barbarians are not just at the gates, they are inside the gates. Well when it comes to the neo-fascist left, they aren't just inside the gates, they are inside the major institutions, and pulling the levers of power.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJyXMkbUb1d3ofQu6SxVpPg

This account has been terminated for violating YouTube's Community Guidelines.

Colin Flaherty is the author of "White Girl Bleeds a Lot" and his videos merely showed security cam footage of black on white violence. You would think that sympathy would be with the victims of that violence, but no, it seems that those videos too must be suppressed, in case they harm the Black Lies Matter narrative. BTW, that phrase is already out there, with this book:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Black-Lies-Matter-Grievance-Industry-ebook/dp/B01BTJLD6A

Just a brief trip around Youtube is sufficient to show you people of a conservative leaning, being physically attacked for speaking their mind, or even for just being there.

The fascists are clearly on the rise in the West, and for once I'm not talking about Islam. These fascists were incubated by the West's own institutions, they are silencing people with their physical violence, vilification, SJW libel and attacks on reputation and income, and the Brexit and US election polls directly show this.
President Donald Trump - collected articlestag:4freedoms.com,2016-10-24:3766518:Topic:1835112016-10-24T23:23:46.994ZAlan Lakehttp://4freedoms.com/profile/AlanLake

At the recent gathering, we had some discussion of the meaning of the Trump phenomenon. Related to this in the Autumn 2015 Crossbow magazine (page 25), Ed West discusses "the blob, or the Cathedral, or new establishment, but whatever we call it, it is understood this new church is all-powerful and institutionally hostile to conservatism". I think these two discussions are connected.

The Cathedral and the MIASM

The Cathedral is a concept described and explained at great length by Mencius Moldbug, and it is remiss to degrade the term by calling it "the blob". The Cathedral is said to consist of the main stream media, the social media with its SJW (Social Justice Warriors), and the Power Elite, which would be the key movers and shakers of society, those with great financial and political power. It is easier to distinguish this Power Elite in the U.S., because only those with sufficient financial means or backers, are able to throw their hat into the political ring. For the rest, it's a waste of time. This model is complex and difficult to describe precisely. I prefer to call the media subset of the cathedral, the Mainstream Including All Social Media, as the MIASM, which is indicative of the illness it can spread.

Sometimes a well supported political actor like Obama the senator, can implant concepts into the MIASM, as he did with 'Yes we can' and drive the narrative. Other times the MIASM will promote a concept so powerfully that Obama the president is driven to adopt that narrative as well, as happened with the "Hands up don't shoot" lie. So you cannot say what is the central driver of this process, sometimes it's the political leaders, sometimes it's the mainstream media, sometimes it's the social media. Noam Chomsky’s term term for this in his enemies is ‘a conspiracy of common interest’, such that a group moves together with no co-ercion or direction being visible - but we can use that term too. The end result of this MIASM is the same for all conservatives: it will produce a narrative designed to constantly pull conservatives to the left and destroy them.

Preservationism

Trump is the classic anti-progressive (like Margaret Thatcher). He appeals to a conventional or traditional set of values, which the Left loathes, partly because of its 'irrational' appeal to inherited values, but mostly for the values themselves. Thus anti-progressives in the line of Edmund Burke may also be called conservatives or traditionalists, since they wish to be more cautious about the rate of change and introduction of new and untested models. Alternatively they can be called nationalists, since nationalism identifies with a set of values unique to that place and time, and hence it wishes to preserve them against change. But all these terms have been tainted by the narrative of the Cathedral to have negative connotations. A Conservative is painted as a posh speaking twerp from a public school. A traditionalist is someone who just can't get with the times, and would certainly be lost on Strictly Come Dancing. Finally, the Nationalist is the worst of all, since he is a 'far right' xenophobe, who is prejudiced against people of other nations and cultures.

So I suggest a better term for an anti-progressive is a Preservationist: someone who wishes to preserve something we currently have that is of value and under threat, as we do with Wildlife reserves and archaeological museums. This Preservationist term attacks the fundamental fallacy and trick of the term Progressivism: its suggestion that all progress is beneficial and an improvement. A moments thought shows that this clearly cannot be the case.

Progressivism

Firstly, all movement forward involves giving something up, so when you build a railway to Tibet, it loses its isolation. Is that all good? Not if the latter is an instrument for population replacement.

Secondly, even if the things you are giving up are not considered of value, the 'progressives' must at some point, climb up the front side of the hill of obstacles, and achieve the Utopian goal they demanded at the beginning of their social crusade, of an equal meritocratic society, for example. So what does 'progressivism', or movement forward, mean, when you've attained the defined goal, i.e. reached the peak of the hill? Well, it has to mean that you move forward, away from the peak, down the other side of the hill, and 'progressivism' becomes 'regressivism', movement away from the defined peak.

Thus we see the movement in the US, away from an egalitarian, meritocratic society, to one that once again discriminates against people based on their ethnicity or culture, under the guise of positive discrimination. Thus Chinese and Korean students must obtain higher grades than the others, in order to obtain entry to the top universities, in order to satisfy the latter's quota systems. To escape from this seeming contradiction, the MIASM now re-casts the original meritocratic goal of 'Equality of opportunity' with a new Marxist one of 'Equality of result'. Discrimination on the grounds of race or culture is once again seen as normal, even going as far as demands for the racial segregation of 'Safe Spaces'. Martin Luther King, who asked that people be judged according to the quality of their character not the colour of their skin, must be turning in his grave. That is how progressivism, applied over decades, ultimately takes you to a place unthinkable at the beginning. It's also why I believe one of the most important guiding principles of the conservative position is a warning on the law of unintended consequences,

The Post Dialogue World

The field of argument on these topics has now been so messed up by the Alinskyite dirty tricks of the progressives, that it is no longer possible for a normal, untrained person, to argue against their agenda, in an attempt to protect and preserve his current world and its values. Because the dialogue is messed up, many normal citizens feel that the current narrative, as hammered into them by the MIASM, is grossly unfair to them, but they are unable to argue against it. That is now a job for a few hardened professionals. Thus we have entered the post-dialogue world.

What Trump is doing is tapping into the doubt and alienation created by the MIASM. Trump is not doing this deliberately. Trump supporters are relieved that finally a Preservationist has appeared to stand up for them, vindicate their beliefs, and protect their lifestyles, since they feel they are right, even though they do not have the technical equipment to prove that they are right.

In fact, I don't think even Trump has the equipment to make that proof, either. But he just doesn't care. As the Leftist media spin their classic deceit and trickery around him, trying to trap him in a web of self-contradiction or ambiguity, he just says "Whatever" and walks through, leaving threads of spider silk trailing in the wind. Indeed, why should he care? The MIASM has given a free pass on self-contradiction and ambiguity to everyone from Islam to Obama for the past 40 years, so I think we are immured to it by now. We've listened as learned Imams trample all over the law of non-contradiction, with barely a flutter of our post-Hellenic eyelids. Aristotle also, must be turning in his grave.

So that is the source of Trumps power, and it is the reason for the MIASM's uniform bafflement at his rise. They can't understand how some of their 'demos' can reject the authorised narrative. Even worse, they can't understand why their classic weapons have not worked against him.

If Trump gains the Republican nomination but loses the presidency, it will not be because he hasn't touched a nerve and connected with a core of the American people. It will be because he was outgunned by Hilary's money, outplayed by a media largely supporting her, outnumbered by voters imported through the Southern border, and outsmarted by the devious trickery of those for whom politics, has been a decades long metier.

But that will be yet another sad step in the loss of a functioning democracy in the US, and a step further towards the one-party, single-media, biased-judiciary, partisan-executive - state. Bizarrely, we tend to hate those most who contain some aspect of ourselves. Perhaps that's why Russia's totalitarianism really gets Hilary Clinton going.
Is the United States mentally ill?tag:4freedoms.com,2014-12-31:3766518:Topic:1593142014-12-31T12:26:14.182ZAlan Lakehttp://4freedoms.com/profile/AlanLake

A 26-year-old New York state man with mental disabilities who was detained for trespassing on White House grounds while wearing Pokemon-themed attire was reaching out to President Barack Obama for help with his health care, the man’s mother says.

Jeffrey Grossman was stopped by US Secret Service last Thursday after he climbed over the White House fence. He was wearing a Pokemon shirt and hat, and carried a Pikachu doll, a Pokemon character.

Grossman was still being held at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC as of Monday afternoon, a Secret Service spokesperson Nicole Mainor said, according to the Troy Record. Mainor added that Grossman had not been charged in the incident.

Grossman’s mother Cathy traveled to DC for an update, but was not allowed to see her son.

She said her son had gone to an out-of-state hospital to admit himself for mental health treatment, but he was unable to do so based on his healthcare coverage. Upon further inquiry as to why he could not get care, he was told that is not how the healthcare system in the US worked, and that he should talk to the president about it. He then traveled to Washington, she said.

“I was informed that, when he was apprehended, he told security that he had come to talk with the president about his healthcare program,” she said.

Grossman has a Bachelor of Science degree in business from College of Saint Rose. He began to feel effects of mental illness in his early 20s, while he was a senior attending the school. It left him unable to finish his degree on time.

He was deemed to be mentally disabled by the state of New York earlier this year, his mother said. He began taking court-ordered medication. But at some point, he felt so good that he believed he did not need them anymore.

“We have to address our mental health system. It has programs for people under 18 and for our seniors but there is nothing for young adults who can function if they have medication, like my son,” she said.

Grossman’s mother said she is hoping for the best for her son.

“I want something positive to come from this,” she said. “I want people to know there are mental health issues out there. I’m hoping for the best. And I hope that maybe now he will get some long-term help.”

According to the National Institute of Mental Health, as of 2012, there were an estimated 43.7 million adults aged 18 or older - or 18.6 percent of all adults - with a mental illness in the United States. NIMH defines mental illness as “a mental, behavioral, or emotional disorder (excluding developmental and substance use disorders).” In 2008, 13.4 percent of adults in the US received treatment for a mental health problem, NIMH reported.
The Muslim Agenda - the Full Movietag:4freedoms.com,2014-01-18:3766518:Topic:1437582014-01-18T23:37:40.767ZAlan Lakehttp://4freedoms.com/profile/AlanLake

"We were determined to rebuild the Pentagon by Sept 11, 2002, to show the terrorists how America responds to this kind of threat."

Bin laden must have pissed himself at this perfect example of the non-martial thinking of secular democracy. So someone attacks the very heart of your country and people, is posing an existential threat to your existence, and the way you show him how angry you are is to demonstrate your efficient building skills? When he saw those Americans working 20 hour days and sleeping on the site, staying calm and relaxed and refusing to judge the 'religion of peace', he must have been scared stiff (not)!

Of course, bin Laden would have referred to guidance from Mohammed. The prophet said that there will be some people who don't want to fight, but would rather stay at home and do constructive things like farming, making tools, building homes and so on. But that activity is the inclination of the timid coward. The true Muslim is more inclined to go out and fight and kill the kaffir, and that is the true Jihad, the only sure way of getting to heaven. The wimp that just wants to stay at home and create things in peace instead of destroying things in war, will never be a true Muslim, and may even feel the wrath of Mohammed descend upon him, if he's not careful!

The attack on the Pentagon was far more of a national security risk than I imagined. If the fire had reached the roof, it would have knocked out the global communications equipment for the entire pentagon, thus rendering US forces worldwide blind, and unable to seek orders. That blackout could also have been achieved by knocking out (or overloading) the generators, or the cooling system, or perhaps even the water supplies. Imagine if China took that opportunity to take some of the disputed islands, or even Taiwan, and the US is without clear command and control for 24 hours or more?

I think bin Laden made a mistake. If he'd directed 3 jets at the pentagon, he could have wiped it out completely. With just 2 jets, he could have disabled the entire communications system. He could have knocked out the US military! That surely, is a far more symbolic event than the twin towers. It may even have been enough to wake the kaffir cattle from their grass grazing, and make them acknowledge an ideological threat, not just a physical one. But maybe my natural optimism is getting the better of me :-)
US: Military Officers Fired by the Obama Administrationtag:4freedoms.com,2013-10-25:3766518:Topic:1408422013-10-25T10:58:58.954ZAlan Lakehttp://4freedoms.com/profile/AlanLake

I'm putting this in the US Room because its a line of thought that first came to me from the American 'Homeland' series - but its a topic that cuts across all categories.

In Homeland, three people are going mad. Obviously, Brody is mad, with his schizophrenic behaviour and strange relationships with his wife and Carrie. This is only natural after being held for years, tortured, and forced to kill his buddies by Abu Nazir. Carrie seemed to be forced to go mad due to the machinations and web of deceit woven by Brody. However in the latest series, her behaviour is so inexcusably erratic that I'm not inclined to excuse it any more. Brody's daughter went mad and tried to kill herself. After many sessions of psychotherapy she is now semi-normal, but in the last episode was perhaps toying with the idea of becoming a Muslim like her father.

The point is that, behind all this madness is Islam. Some people will say that Islam is mad, and that infects those that contact with it. That's a bigger topic and not one I'm going to consider right now. My thesis is a smaller one, that:

The strain of trying to maintain non-judgement and non-discrimination of all ideologies (of which Islam is one), in a secular democracy, is sufficient to drive people mad

It is extremely difficult to maintain the tolerance of the intolerant Islam, while it is going about its racist and supremacist business. The contradictions are palpable. And when you try constantly to maintain two contradictory ideas, you go mad. Of course, as the Greeks said, "Those whom the gods wish to destroy they first make mad".

Once you think about this madness, you can recognise it in many places. An obvious example is the Dutch PVV leader who became a Muslim. Then there are Western secular women of the Left, who are staunch supporters of the ideology that says they are "deficient in intelligence" and worth half a man, and who support the Burqa while castigating Western husbands who don't help with the housework. this is not just mere irrationality, surely? Its obvious that their fear of Islam, combined with their cowardice, has lead them to seek the only way out: deny Western misogyny but accept Islamic misogyny. Then, in an attempt to cover up their deceit, they scream even louder at anyone who dares question this contradiction. Of course, there are shades here of the classic witch burning model of the middle ages, where the only way to escape was to denounce someone else as a witch. Here, the Leftist woman tries to escape her cowardice by denouncing all on the right as witches. But this surely is the beginnings of madness.

Some of our readers will also be familiar with the concept of the Chasm. The Chasm is the gap that opens up between Islam and the Kafir, as the dumb Kafir realise that their beloved 'moderate' Islam is but a chimaera, which, even if it does exist, will be destroyed, with its supporters, by the fundamentalists. This has happened for 1400 years, and is happening around the world now.

So, as the chasm opens up you have strict Muslims on the left cliff, and non-Muslims + Muslim appostates to the right of that. On the right cliff you have all those secularists who have accepted that this attempt to neutralise the violence of Islam by working with 'moderate' Muslims, will not work, and have accepted that the communities are divided and against each other, and always will be. But what do you have in the gap in the middle, between the two cliffs?

I believe that what you have in the middle are the mad people. They are, for example, the tolerant manic-liberal Swedes and Norwegians, letting their women and children get mass raped by a single and clearly identifiable section of the community, while they stand by and politely watch, as the civilians and police did as Lee Rigby was having his face mutilated with carving knives. Then they have long debates on TV about what they have done to make those Muslims so angry, and how can they appease them. They also boast to the world how they, the purest of the pure, are now going to accept even more Muslim refugees from the poor war-torn regions of the world. But they don't boast about how well the are protecting their own people, I notice.

If you try stand in the plain between the two cliffs ,preaching moderation and reconciliation while the divide gets deeper and the contradictions plainer, you can only go mad. As the chasm stretches wider and deeper, over the next 10 and 20 years, I believe we shall see a lot of madness.

Finally, for the Goebbels of the media morons, who will take this article to be an incitement to putative Breveiks to go on a killing spree, I would say, please look up and try understand the meaning of these three words: Explanation of action (in past), Prediction of action (in future), and Prescription of action.
The evolution of Politics: How can the Republicans compete?tag:4freedoms.com,2013-02-27:3766518:Topic:1193382013-02-27T19:08:49.407ZAlan Lakehttp://4freedoms.com/profile/AlanLake

Much though I like Victor Davis Hanson, I really don't think he can compete with shows like this, for getting the attention of the 'masses'. And note, this is not a purely 'fun' event - its purpose is to promote the fitness message 'lets move' - but that surely resonates strongly with the political message of moveon.org.

Then how about this clever use of the media - who wouldn't warm to the Kid President? Isn't he cute? And who now wants to talk about the lawlessness that exists just 1 mile from the Whitehouse? If the Republican party is to make any headway at all, it has to accept the dumbing down of the political debate, level the playing field and start to fight the Democrats on their own terms.
