It takes a nation to protect the nation

Once again, it becomes apparent that this is an actual topic.  Anyway, better late than never.

Obama's government lying again?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-30820897

In January 2009 Mr Obama issued a directive that ordered the closing of Guantanamo. But congressional leaders baulked, saying they did not want the detainees to be released - and that none of them could be transferred to prisons in the US.

This week Republicans in Washington raised concerns about detainees who could be released and then pose a threat to Americans.

Senator Kelly Ayotte, a Republican from New Hampshire, introduced legislation that would "enhance" the prohibitions that have already been placed on moving detainees out Guantanamo.

The measure states that government funds cannot be used to place the detainees in the US. It also places even more restrictions on transferring them to other countries.

Senator John McCain said these steps are necessary because some of the detainees who were released in past years "re-entered the fight", returning to militant groups.

Speaking on background, a State Department official said that only a small number of Guantanamo detainees who have been released have returned to militancy, despite the recent accounts in the media.

Nineteen percent of the men who were released before 2009, the year that Mr Obama took office, were "confirmed of re-engaging", said the official. Afterwards the percentage dropped to 6.8%.

"Nearly half of the former detainees confirmed of re-engaging are either dead or in custody," said the official.

So, are we to believe that thanks to Obama's policy of appeasing and conciliating Islamists, the number of Guantanamo terrorists re-engaging has dropped from 19% to 6.8%? Do we know exactly what people are engaging in terrorism in the depths of Yemen and Syria anyway?  Even if those figures are correct -  - does the 6.8% exclude those that have been killed in Obama's famed drone strikes?  In which case the 6.8% is actually 13.6%, and that is a ridiculously large number.

So all those brave soldiers that died in order to capture that 13.6%, their lives were thrown away?  And if that State Department official's children were killed by one of those 13.6%, would he think that was just an acceptable risk that did not work out?  The madness is so intense, I just can't relate to it anymore.  These liberal do-gooders are like children playing with dynamite.

Very soon, if we even look a jihadist terrorist in the face, after he is convicted of murdering 100 people, he will successfully sue us for hurt to his feelings.

The Left keep saying that more people are shot by cops or die in automobile accidents than are killed in terrorist attacks in the US. So, is domestic terrorism unavoidable and something we have to learn to live with? Criminals are going to provoke armed cops into shooting in self-defence and sometimes cops will make mistaken kills. But mostly they do good and necessary work and protect our lives and property. We can try to make automobiles and highways safer. The leftist liberal Democrats demonstrate a total lack of respect for the victims of Islamic Terror and their families. As long as criminals and police are armed some innocents will die, as long as we have free and open highways there are going to be accidents and also intoxicated drivers. But we can do something about Islamic Terror we can deny Muslims entry to the US, deport the Muslims that are here, and forbid Islam. Then we would only have the lunatic white fanatics to deal with. Do not talk of human rights, Muslims do not believe in human rights, they are not included in the ideology of Islam. An ideology that discriminates and takes away rights and humanity.

Thousands of Deadly Islamic Terror Attacks Since 9/11

Mission Overview

Most Western societies are based on Secular Democracy, which itself is based on the concept that the open marketplace of ideas leads to the optimum government. Whilst that model has been very successful, it has defects. The 4 Freedoms address 4 of the principal vulnerabilities, and gives corrections to them.

At the moment, one of the main actors exploiting these defects, is Islam, so this site pays particular attention to that threat.

Islam, operating at the micro and macro levels, is unstoppable by individuals, hence: "It takes a nation to protect the nation". There is not enough time to fight all its attacks, nor to read them nor even to record them. So the members of 4F try to curate a representative subset of these events.

We need to capture this information before it is removed.  The site already contains sufficient information to cover most issues, but our members add further updates when possible.

We hope that free nations will wake up to stop the threat, and force the separation of (Islamic) Church and State. This will also allow moderate Muslims to escape from their totalitarian political system.

The 4 Freedoms

These 4 freedoms are designed to close 4 vulnerabilities in Secular Democracy, by making them SP or Self-Protecting (see Hobbes's first law of nature). But Democracy also requires - in addition to the standard divisions of Executive, Legislature & Judiciary - a fourth body, Protector of the Open Society (POS), to monitor all its vulnerabilities (see also Popper).
1. SP Freedom of Speech
Any speech is allowed - except that advocating the end of these freedoms
2. SP Freedom of Election
Any party is allowed - except one advocating the end of these freedoms
3. SP Freedom of Movement
The government can import new voters - except where that changes the political demographics (i.e. electoral fraud by means of immigration)
4. SP Freedom from Over-spending
People should not be charged for government systems which they reject, and which give them no benefit. For example, the government cannot pass a debt burden across generations (25 years).
An additional Freedom from Religion is be deducible by equal application of law: "Religious and cultural activities are exempt from legal oversight - except where they intrude into the public sphere (Res Publica)"
