Right Joe, those that make the law can remake the law, when it suits them. Laws in other words are a matter of opinion or an expression of power. Those with the power to do so write the laws. They are just another fiction that we have more or less agreed on to be true.

"There is a principle of law here that a new law cannot have a back-over-in-time effect"

That's the myth we are sold to make us believe we have rule of law.  Consider how EU retrospectively removed the law protecting just 1 MEP so that they could drag Marine Le Pen through the courts.

Also discussed in this article about "war crimes".

It has been argued that in the 6 trials of Tommy Robinson in relationship to him reporting on the media's cover-up of the Leeds grooming trial that the courts retrospectively introduced a crime which wasn't a crime at the time when he stood on the street reporting at the end of that trial.

When everything is against you and you continue on, you are either mad or brave, hopefully mad and brave.

Good point Philip. Unfortunately it uses logic and reason, which are tools the 'woke' don't recognise anymore.

The removal of statues.
There is a principle of law here that a new law cannot have a back-over-in-time effect.
Such as that if you have committed a crime in the past subject to a statute of limitations, and this has run out for your offence. If that statute of limitations is removed by a new law it only applies too future offences not to ones done under the old law.
When our history is rewritten and we are help accountable for deeds done legally by our ancestors in the past that are now illegal. A similar principle applies.
Thomas Jefferson did not commit a crime in a time when holding slaves was legal. Jefferson is not a wicked or criminal man. He was a slave owner and a great man.
(And the Britons in Roman times were not black).

Also what happened in French Revolution: people like Tom Paine and Mary Wolstencroft, supporters of the Revolution, were jailed and lined up for execution but some supporters got them out of jail and they fled France.

There's already a handful of US Leftists who have been deplatformed for not being sufficiently extreme.

I've just watched a 2-part documentary on the French Revolution on Curiosity Stream. It's amazing how similar the events in the US are at the moment. They haven't got to the beheading stage yet, but they are annihilating people by de-platforming them and taking away their jobs and bank accounts, and there is the same sudden mass hysteria in a new and contradictory direction.

It makes me feel like saying that no-one should go into politics without studying politics and history to A-level. It's clear that Trump, for example, didn't realise what game he was playing.

Yes Philip. And those that object must be silenced - hate speech is not free speech! We don't want equality we want equity! And silence is violence! If you don't immediately speak up in agreement, we are entitled to respond to that 'violence' with physical violence of our own!

4F has gone woke, LOL

I think we should just open every border and see what happens, and abolish private property so that anyone can move into your house and access your bank account.

Muslim Terrorism Count

Thousands of Deadly Islamic Terror Attacks Since 9/11

Mission Overview

Most Western societies are based on Secular Democracy, which itself is based on the concept that the open marketplace of ideas leads to the optimum government. Whilst that model has been very successful, it has defects. The 4 Freedoms address 4 of the principal vulnerabilities, and gives corrections to them.

At the moment, one of the main actors exploiting these defects, is Islam, so this site pays particular attention to that threat.

Islam, operating at the micro and macro levels, is unstoppable by individuals, hence: "It takes a nation to protect the nation". There is not enough time to fight all its attacks, nor to read them nor even to record them. So the members of 4F try to curate a representative subset of these events.

We need to capture this information before it is removed.  The site already contains sufficient information to cover most issues, but our members add further updates when possible.

We hope that free nations will wake up to stop the threat, and force the separation of (Islamic) Church and State. This will also allow moderate Muslims to escape from their totalitarian political system.

The 4 Freedoms

These 4 freedoms are designed to close 4 vulnerabilities in Secular Democracy, by making them SP or Self-Protecting (see Hobbes's first law of nature). But Democracy also requires - in addition to the standard divisions of Executive, Legislature & Judiciary - a fourth body, Protector of the Open Society (POS), to monitor all its vulnerabilities (see also Popper).
1. SP Freedom of Speech
Any speech is allowed - except that advocating the end of these freedoms
2. SP Freedom of Election
Any party is allowed - except one advocating the end of these freedoms
3. SP Freedom from Voter Importation
Immigration is allowed - except where that changes the political demography (this is electoral fraud)
4. SP Freedom from Debt
The Central Bank is allowed to create debt - except where that debt burden can pass across a generation (25 years).

An additional Freedom from Religion is deducible if the law is applied equally to everyone:

  • Religious and cultural activities are exempt from legal oversight except where they intrude into the public sphere (Res Publica)"
