It is wrong to use a child, a person below a certain age (puberty), as this will cause psychological and or physical harm to that child. This can be demonstrated to be true by studying actual cases.
Sex must be restricted to consenting adults. Except harmless sexual curiosity between children of the same age.
However we are an animal with an overdeveloped brain.
So most human activity and morality can be called social construction.
Practical laws and rules must be in place to ensure that the society runs as smoothly as possible.
As regards to morality a general agreement as to what is right and what is wrong must be in place. Changes in attitude as they evolve must be of benefit.
Murder, theft and rape have to be unlawful otherwise life in any society would become intolerable, impossible.
We cannot all just do whatever we like all of the time, we must at least understand the concept of responible behaviour (and ponder on it).

The major press and UN reaction to the take over by Taliban of Afghanistan is pathetic. They are acting as if they are shocked and surprised by what is happening. It has been obvious from the beginning that democracy would not function there and that the Taliban would return and that they would act the way that they do. They are fundamental muslims just like ISIS, To believe that they would share power and respect democratic principles is criminal. I doubt that anyone can really have believed that.

If the collapse of Afghanistan turns into a right debacle, with the sacking of the US embassy and perhaps even staff being paraded in front of the cameras - it could even be a good thing. The US is so deluded now, they need a good public worldwide humiliation to try bring them down to earth. They need to be wake up about the strength and threat from China (and stop blathering on about Russia), and they need to punish and fire their useless military leaders that are responsible for the 20 year Afghan debacle.

But even this humiliation may not do it.

The lesson I take is to stay well out of internal muslim affairs. Deport muslims instead of importing them. And that Islam remains the greatest threat to civilisation as we understand it.
