‘A Manual of Hadith’, by Maulana Muhammad Ali, I have not heard of before. Having looked it up online it looks like a worthwhile compendium of ahadith and Islamic themes based on Hadith and the Quran. It looks like a worthwhile buy. It might be best to start with this book which deals with themes rather than opening up Bukari and the Quran and read from start to finish.
