We probably need more stringent rules for obtaining citizenship to avoid wholesale importing of miscreants. Covertly an ideological agenda operates that ascribes the label victim to all members of any bellicose cultural group around the world and label the more successful cultures (ie the west) as oppressor cultures.

Though since we have had years of mala fides in the management of our immigration policy it might be time to try and clear up the issue of who is in and who is out in terms of citizenship.

What I would like is a law which enables people in this country to revoke their citizenship through conscious word or action. Something which would categorise traitors like that David Hicks (aka Mohammed Australii) as noncitizens and therefore not entitled to remain in this country.

UPDATE: it must be said that this Speech was written by John Howard Assistant, when he already was a Former Prime Minister. I anyway know that this Speech has been published in order to allow otherwise silenced Voices to be heard. The Speech reports a very widespread Thought among the Population, which "of course" cannot express itself without being labeled as "Racist", "Islamophobe" or "Bad" [*] (not to be forgotten: whoever criticize Islam - and its Irrespect for Others - risks to be targeted by Islamic/-ist Thugs).

[*] "Bad": it is "the Offense" that Christians fear the most - and Islamic/-ist people know it, and (ab)use of it -.

The desire by western nations to be seen as always doing the politically correct and fair thing is our greatest weakness, this is being exploited by those groups who wish to undermine our way of life and right of choice. Its about time that ordinary people were given the right to voice thier opinion on immigration multi culturalism and all the rest of that Bull shit. It is time the government stood up for our values and stopped fearing upsetting minorty groups. This is Australia and most people dont want its ethnic mix or religious or non religious rights to change.

Indoeuropean you make a good point but what people are forgetting and what the Muslims, Political left and the PC brigade don’t want advertised is that there is no such thing as Islamaphobia, a phobia is an irrational fear of something.
If it were a Phobia it would be a medical complaint such as claustrophobia or arachnophobia, and to attack someone for having a phobia is in itself irrational and also illegal.
Then of course there is the allegation of racism if we have the temerity to make any complaint about Islam, well iv seen passports from all over the world but iv never seen a Muslim passport, iv seen plenty of Muslims with passports but not a Muslim one.
The fact is that the Islamic Race dose not exist any more than the Protestant or Catholic race exists.
Its just another ploy by the Muslims, Political left and the PC brigade to stifle any debate on Islam, they really don’t like people talking about what they get up to.

As for this speech by John Howard, well he is definitely on the right track.

We Australians will reap what we saw, It was not too many years ago that Australia was helping the Biggest Muslim country in the world (Indonesia) to Militarily Defeat one of the Smallest countries in the World
Catholic (East Timor), They Failed.
Why did our Govt do that ? Well for one thing it was greed, Oil and Gas in the Timor Gap (that did not belong to us) drove them to help a Muslim state Murder half of East Timor’s people.
And now you have many Muslims living in Australia, and just across the Timor gap you have the Biggest Islamic Country in the world with a standing army numbering Two million men under arms.
You can bet your bottom dollar that Indonesia is looking at Australia and all that land to populate with envious eyes.
Indonesia has coveted Australia’s vast land mass with its huge untapped resources for 50 years or more, but they were never strong enough.
But they will be soon, it may take 20 years but that is OK, they will out breed the Australians and then they will out vote the Australians and then when they control our parliament by legal, democratic means they will dissolve Democracy and declare Australia Stan an Islamic Republic.
Go on Laugh, It can never happen ? Check out our berth rate against the Islamic berth rate ? And don’t think the Muslims already in Australia are not being very busy travelling around the country photographing all the Australian military installations, Especially around Darwin were the Indonesians will land.
Advance Australia fair ? Right in to an Islamic Night Mare.

Dear TheGrenadier, I do not laugh and - at the opposite - I believe you ... I would even say "no Wonder" that they take Pictures ... I know that your Worries are not Racism nor -Phobia. They already declared to be the natural Inhabitans of Australia ... that huge Heaven on Heart, which had Nothing to do with Islam 'till Australia allowed Islamic Immigration in. Sorry, Islamic Invasion, in. I feel very close to Australia (a Heaven on Earth, really), and I feel my Heart bleeding each Time I read of (bad) News like your one. I can't believe Australia is doing Nothing to stop them and to protect itself: Islam means Islamic Mafia, Hitmen included. They have no Respect for Others, no Matter how much you do/did for them (wellcoming them, helping them). They'll destroy that Heaven on Hearth with their bloody Violence and their horrible Laws .... Some years ago I was in the Army Reserve and the scenario of what you have all discussed here was the focus of major military exercises in the Northern Territory, (all in the nightly news) It was also believed that Australia could not defend itself because of the size of its coastline and the limited number of military personnel, if we had nuclear weapons we could wipe them out on the desert regions if our Navy and air force did not sink their invasion force on its way here. Thanks to our strong alliance with the US Indonesia would not try this, if the liberal fairy PC brigade had there way, that Alliance would be scrapped Australia has no Nuclear weapons...so we are very vulnerable.
