(Top socialist leaders in the EU taking bribes from the arabs).
EU vice-president and Greek socialist MEP Eva Kaili is ARRESTED by Belgian police in 'Qatar lobbying scandal': Politician is suspended from her party amid corruption claims
Eva Kaili, 44, was voted in as a vice-president of the EU in January 2022
It follows the arrests of four people in Brussels earlier on Friday in the probe
It is understood police are investigating alleged corruption attempts by Qatar
She recently called Qatar a 'frontrunner in labour rights' after meeting with the nation's labour minister, Politico reports.
In November, shortly before the World Cup started, she met Qatar's Labour Minister Ali bin Samikh Al Marri.
In a video statement posted on Twitter by the Qatar News Agency she said: 'I believe the World Cup for Arabs has been a great tool for... political transformation and reforms...'.
The European Parliament 'recognised and respected' Qatar's progress in labour reforms, she added.
Yes, the outlook is bleak. The 2nd world war lasted 6 years then was over. Without wishing to diminish the incredible sacrifice and work put in by our previous generations, in some ways this is worse. It's already gone on for decades and there's no end in sight, so it feels pretty hopeless.
Immigration has made unity an impossibility and socialist indoctrination has rendered recent generations submissive.
Our only hope is to reduce government, reduce the bureaucracy, and reduce the powers of elected and non.elected officials. Put all law-making subject to referendum approval by voters.
Why isn't "offending someone-crime" (hate-crime) law put out in a referendum and subject to approval by a majority of voters?
I for one do not want any hate-crime law and I believe many would vote against such laws given the choice. There are many questions I would like put to voters and laws that the population should have been asked to approve.
I do believe that the majority has been rendered powerless and is not represented.
However you choose to explain this disenfranchisement is your concern, I am only interested in verifiable fact. The fact that concerns me is that I feel abused, ignored and insulted, and am consumed with a hatred for those that have destroyed my world. A hatred I would rather have lived without. The culture is no longer my culture, the land no longer my country.
But then did we ever really have any power?
Those in power decided to keep it. Why let a bunch of mugs do as they please. And woe we vote them out of a job when at the shake of a hand they can out 1000's upon 1000's out off work.
And the Police protect them. That's proper Fascism.
And let's not forget that the Socialist revolution was about giving the power and means of production to the people. In fact it always ends up giving it to the masters. And they starve us and kill us at their pleasure.
I used to enjoy when in company in town going to a cafe for a cup of coffee and a cake or sandwich. Last time, I was required to write my name and telephone number on a form at the cashier or register my whereabouts using my phone. I wrote a false number and illegible signature. Purely as an instinctive reaction and because I was likely to be refused service if I did not participate in the submission ritual. At least we have not been forced to wear masks here.
You may say it was childish and the authorities were only keen to keep track of infection spread and ensure people could be located and put into home quarantine. But just the same I did not sign up to the original covid tracking app either and will not be allowing myself to be inoculated.
I just do not like, right or wrong, being obliged/forced to do anything. I prefer to be given a choice or at least persuaded to do something out of public interest and safety after that I have been given reasoned arguments and solid evidence.
I am aware that(and know of) people that take part in a family or social event can all end up infected with covid. I respect other people's space and avoid crowds but I can see no reason for my movements to be restricted or registered.
Wave after wave of the virus washes over us, people are infected, get sick and some die. Vaccines do not seem to be much use and nobody seems to know what they are talking about and I hate listening to the alarmist politicians and journalists.
I accept that sooner or later I will get the virus and become sick and may die, But I can see no way to avoid this and as being ill does not result in immunity, I can see no end to this crisis and no cure.
So we might just as well all get on with our lives and behave normally. And reckon that we if lucky will get a milder version of the infection. Group immunity seems like a myth. Humanity will either survive or become extinct, the universe does not care either way. So eat, drink and be merry. There are too many people on this planet anyway.
Different groups coming together to protest the lockdowns.
Yesterday France had demos again over the security laws being introduced, and a smaller yellow vest protest, and today Vienna has thousands on the streets defying their government.
Each one if these countries governments have just bought out more police to deal with the unappreciative people.
Yes
No, you haven't gone insane Philip; in fact your comment is a gem of a summarising overview. I agree that democracy is a failed experiment. It was based on various unstated premises, so as those premises got eroded over time till they eventually vanished, its foundational nature was rendered void.
Welcome to 4 Freedoms!

Most Western societies are based on Secular Democracy, which itself is based on the concept that the open marketplace of ideas leads to the optimum government. Whilst that model has been very successful, it has defects. The 4 Freedoms address 4 of the principal vulnerabilities, and gives corrections to them.
At the moment, one of the main actors exploiting these defects, is Islam, so this site pays particular attention to that threat.
Islam, operating at the micro and macro levels, is unstoppable by individuals, hence: "It takes a nation to protect the nation". There is not enough time to fight all its attacks, nor to read them nor even to record them. So the members of 4F try to curate a representative subset of these events.
We need to capture this information before it is removed. The site already contains sufficient information to cover most issues, but our members add further updates when possible.
We hope that free nations will wake up to stop the threat, and force the separation of (Islamic) Church and State. This will also allow moderate Muslims to escape from their totalitarian political system.
These 4 freedoms are designed to close 4 vulnerabilities in Secular Democracy, by making them SP or Self-Protecting (see Hobbes's first law of nature). But Democracy also requires - in addition to the standard divisions of Executive, Legislature & Judiciary - a fourth body, Protector of the Open Society (POS), to monitor all its vulnerabilities (see also Popper).
1. SP Freedom of Speech
Any speech is allowed - except that advocating the end of these freedoms
2. SP Freedom of Election
Any party is allowed - except one advocating the end of these freedoms
3. SP Freedom from Voter Importation
Immigration is allowed - except where that changes the political demography (this is electoral fraud)
4. SP Freedom from Debt
The Central Bank is allowed to create debt - except where that debt burden can pass across a generation (25 years).
An additional Freedom from Religion is deducible if the law is applied equally to everyone:
