It takes a nation to protect the nation
Daniel (left) was injured by a bomb in February 2012 and was in danger of losing both legs. But thanks to supporters he was able to receive treatment to save his legs and is on course to walk again. He is gaining weight and using a wheelchair, and has attended a workshop to help him to fully recover.
The compassion and generosity of supporters like you has meant we have been able to fund surgery for children such as Daniel, who needed his shattered leg bones to be reset. There are others like him, still waiting for the surgery that can restore them to health. You can help with a gift for treatment costs.
Pictured (right) is Grace whose arm was severed by a machete. She needs surgery to stop the bone protruding, causing her arm to become infected. Like many of those who have been injured or who have seen their parents killed, she also needs help to process her trauma.

The five-day workshops are followed up with bi-monthly sessions to monitor and encourage the participants’ progress. They really are effective in enabling people to recover from the most horrific attacks and injuries.
